I have a feeling that you are only supposed to have a max of 1GB per slot - you should have 4 slots. Also, under a 32bit OS you will only see a max of 3 or 3.5GB. And as a further restriction I think each app can only use a max of 2GB.

If it was burning oil it would smoke more. Forged pistons generally have a little more clearance than standard ones so there is the opportunity to blow a little past the rings but like I said, if it was that much it would smoke like hell. How many miles have you done ?

I used to have a Darmah identical to this one (it started off ratty black and ended up pristine red), so it's a bit of a nostalgia thing for me. A chip will not work correctly with 370cc or 440cc injectors - it has to be one or the other. There is no magic that happens in a chip, it's just got fuel and ignition parameters etc.
