  1. You never seen them before ? ;)
  2. Mike Feeney will probably have them.
  3. I'm not sure, but there must be some type of vent otherwise (barring leaks) there would be huge vacuum in the tank. Isn't there a little one-way valve in the filler cap ? I seem to recollect some holes there, but I may be thinking of another cap - I've not looked at mine for a while !!
  4. There is something about chrome rims that is just :hurl:
  5. Is there a vent which is blocked ? Have you tried running the car without the fuel cap (or perhaps one of those temporary plastic ones which wouldn't be so air tight) ?
  6. Actually, I checked last night and again just now, nothing yet. It seems to take longer when sent from a business rather than a personal account, I have no idea why ....

Yes, that hadn't escaped me !

Can do, but there are other ways to remove the limiter if that's all you want. If you have a speedo convertor (kph - mph) then that may do it, but that does create some other minor issues. Many people have written about them in the past, try a search.
  9. No, that would be 2400rpm. I would check whether the O2 sensors are good, if they fail it can run very rich. Also worth checking the engine temp sensor. The temp gauge doesn't affect the running of the car - just nice to have. Oh, and fixing the boost leak would be a good idea too ...

Yes, that's correct, it should run OK on UK fuel, but it can easily be chipped if you want to do things like remove the speed limiter. Details are on my web site.
  11. So did you date them as Nick or Nicola ? LOL :D
  12. I first got my Z in 1997 and a couple of years later I did seriously think about a '99 spec, ie effectively a 'new' car. Now that the 99's will be 10 years old by the time they get here the appeal is somewhat reduced. The difference between a '99 and my '92 doesn't seem so great, maybe it's because I don't really think of mine as being 16+ years old !
  13. Reason I was thinking about that is that will put extra strain on the mounting points, additional leverage etc. Not sure how much, but more nonetheless.
  14. There will be heaps of alternatives, that's also a standard BMW tyre size.
  15. Which were the calipers you had which were split and had a spacer installed to fit the Wilwood discs ?
  16. Or maybe one of the mounting points had a defect/crack, and all the strain was focused on the other.
  17. That's pretty serious, maybe there was a manufacturing defect ?
  18. Ahh yes, eCheques will take up to 9 days !
  19. So how come you still show as 'registered' ? How did you pay ?
  20. Some ideas :- http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/hesitate2.html http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/hesitate.html http://www.es-ab.se/z-car/IdleTech.html http://www.es-ab.se/z-car/IdleTech2.html
  21. But generally there is no need for a second account unless you are a) testing b) misbehaving, or c) have managed to (accidentally) get yourself locked out of your primary account.
  22. Supposed to snow in Essex today, but I'm in Devon, so will miss it as no doubt it will be gone by the time I get home tomorrow night.
  23. No problem cleaning them, as long as you can get them off (and back) in one piece. The valves themselves can also be cleaned, but one of the problems is that the springs get weak, so replacement is a good option. The OEM Nissan part is fairly expensive (for what they are), but Mike Feeney does an equivalent part at a greatly reduced price.
  24. Ohhh, didn't even realise there was a different one ....
