  3. Party this Friday Night. Let me know if you want to come.. Great DJ... Heaps of chemicals...Should be a blast! See attachment for details
  4. I'd always thought that the fact that people were not turning up and making a fortune on the stock market/betting etc clear proof that time travel is not possible. Anyway, why on earth would this guy turn up and try to do it now when the stock market is in a mess, when he could have gone back a couple of years and easily made a mint - no-one would have noticed ! Also, why do it now at all, why not follow the instructions as written by Douglas Adams for paying the bill in the Restaurant At The End of The Universe ? You know, deposit one penny in a bank far back in time and by the time you need it the compounded interest has accrued a phenomenal sum. Nah, he's a looney and no mistake.
  5. Nix and Bagins, you may need to take a Zed history lesson. ;) Let's just take it as read them Emero is looking for an alternative mechanic to the mainstream ones that get a mention here. I could make recomendations but they're all a long way from Warwick.
  6. That would be this one then :- http://www.mindspring.com/~toy4two/tire.html

  8. You probbaly need to check whether your steering wheel is centered properely. Try a search ...
  9. What needs to be done is listed in the online manual here :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/ma/008.gif http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/ma/009.gif
  10. I think it will be something to to with the labelling required for the regulations in different countries, although I don't remember looking closely enough at a UK spec headlight to verify this. But I do remember looking at one UK car and I was pretty certain at the time that it had one UK and one jap headlight in it.
  11. Not if the offset is correct. In fact the wide arch kits usually rely on the wheels having spacers.

This may help .... but it doesn't explain everything !
  13. Yes you can change the glass but you have to split it from the main casing and it's bonded ! Takes about 20mins with a heat gun ... Then you have to stick it back and remake the seal with silicon goo
  14. It would do no harm, just leave the battery disconnected for 30 minutes or so.
  15. Mucho dinero I think. Have to be made to order in Germany. Maceij has them.
  16. Don't think it will be too much of a problem. I think the Aus site has an explanation of how to change the earth connection to suit an H3 bulb, so I'm sure it can be done the other way.
  17. That's a rusty looking battery tray you have there !
  18. Always liked these ones myself :-
  19. I'd say that technically yours has the wrong tyres on the front, but as it is generally accepted that you need wider rear tyres than fronts in order to maintain the steering balance, then it is possible that sometimes in Japan they put narrower tyres on the front, rather than wider wheels/tyres on the back. Some cars from Japan arrive with UK spec rear wheels, but I'm not sure how they get ahold of those.
  20. I have a theory that I will test one day (on someone elses clocks ! lol) Firstly you remove the needle from the spindle (without breaking it) by using the aforementioned thin nosed pliers. Change the clock faces to whatever pretty colours take your fancy Then to get the needle back in the right place you need power to the device, such that it would normally position the needle in line with the 'zero' indicator (remember they are usually a little below that when the power is off), put the needle back, in line with the zero and hey presto it should work right ...... PS Forgot the bit about throw a double six and rub the lucky rabbits foot before you start !
  21. Blue Zed with '99 spec rear spolier drove past the Lytton Arms in Old Knebworth where I was having a late-ish lunch. Anyone here ?

Some broadband providers give you a fixed address, sometimes they just give you a long lease. I know with BT you have to pay extra, I think it's their Business 500 that provides a fixed address. My BT Satellite broadband is DHCP.

That rather depends on how long the DHCP lease is, but if someone just swapped ID's then they would have the same IP for both sessions.
  24. You can get the needle off if you hold the shaft in place with a pair of long nosed pliers, but getting it back in the right place is the tricky bit ! Best left alone in my experience.

Actually I checked the IP addresses and you're all in the clear for the time being !
