Only 49%, a much better rating than the gaol/fine test anyway !
  3. It's a little unclear from the parts CD (as usual) but it looks like there are two very similar parts :- 26590-30P01 or 26590-40P10 I think this is for the whole assembly.

Now the really funnny thing about this thread is that being an admin/mod I can see who voted for what ! LOL ;)
  5. Result ! :) Cheers bud. :D That's much better than you paying rent ....
  6. SE did mine, they charged £1K ! Perfect job though.
  7. Hey, am I missing out - no one's offering me sexual favours ! :(
  8. OK, Thanks. I was hoping to get a bleed screw fitted into the top LH tank, but I'll have to live without now.
  9. No, it's too large. Good pic though.
  10. Clearly both these things are far too difficult for auto drivers to do. They just want an on/off button ! LOL :D
  11. Well the Zed has anyway ... Caught the whiff of hot coolant a couple of times recently, taken a good look round but no sign of where the leak might be. Got home yesterday and the Techtom was indicating a couple of degrees higher than normal, left the car ticking over for a minute or two and the temp went up ! Finally noticed that it's damp down the back of the rad - bummer. Had lost just over a litre and the expansion tank was empty, so it looks like my shiney new rad from Wazzers Ally Fabrication and Duplication Industries Ltd (RSA) may be getting fitted a little sooner than I planned. Just hoping that I don't have to do the water pump as well (prob not because it's only about 25,000 miles old). Guess the car is punishing me for thrashing it so mercilessly recently. :( So anyway, that's Saturday morning arranged for me ....
  12. It really helps to have a ConZult/Techtom when you start messing with these things. Then you can see the values being passed back by the sensors and you can usually identify the cause of the problem, without taking everything apart.

So they'll be competing with Topless then, who already has far more than his fair share of Zeds !

Hmmm, so it is possible that the speedo head/needle was damaged when they changed the face. My recomendation would be to get a 2nd hand UK spec speedo, that way you get 180mph speedo, and both the boost and oil pressue in psi rather than Jap metric measurements. To derestrict the car (enable above 112mph) you will need to change the ECU chip or bodge it with one of the speed defensor gizmos. Alternatively, you could put all the Jap spec stuff back and use one of the km/h-mph converter boxes.

So it now only reads up to 120 mph ????

Was the speedo head actually changed or just converted to read mph ? If it was converted you may have a dodgy convertor, otherwise you may have a faulty speed sensor (or wiring).
  17. That's for the top link on the front suspension, not the rear ball joint. Doesn't mean that there isn't one for the rear though, just not on my site.
  18. I use aluminium paint, it's a reasonable match unless your rims are polished.
  19. Bloody hell - dynamic prop balancing the hard (and dangerous) way ! Well done
  20. It says :- Step1 - Input your registration and design your plates. Step2 - Select the size of plates you require, (standard or other) Step3 - Enter your delivery details, payment details and checkout And they are based in N. Ireland ... Check the examples :- http://www.fancyplates.com/examples.html Pretty much all are illegal here now.
  21. I just used a UK spec oil cooler in place of the Jap spec one. Bolts straight on.
  22. Well summat must've changed because they made mine. Could specify font, plate size in mm etc
  23. Actually I think he looks like Ian Gillan (ex Deep Purple etc) !
  24. Try http://www.fancyplates.co.uk (or http://www.fancyplates.com)
  25. Don't like the sound of bits of electrickery that catch fire in the boot ! Bring all the gubbins round and I'll try to work out what is required.
