  1. You're not trying hard enough ! LOL ;)
  2. Certainly initially it's the clamping force of the clutch clover that makes a greater difference than the friction plate (unless it was completely knackered). I have an RPS cover plate with a standard Nissan friction plate and that works very nicely. Something like double the clamping force too. My old one was slipping due to the increased torque above standard.
  3. Nah, it's Levitra - ooops there I am promoting our products again ! Never mind, have a shag and pay my wages ... LMAO :D
  4. Or maybe inhibitor switch ....
  5. Pretty much none, except the reversing light switch. Neutral switch can be left disconnected. All you have to do is bypass the imobiliser thing (that stops you starting an auto in gear - what the hell is that called ?)
  6. Mot

    Excellent ! ;)
  7. It's much easier to do the piece of wire trick. http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ECUdiagnostics.html
  8. Dunno about that, never taken one apart, but if that is the case then why not just change the powersupply as well, they're only £20 or so for a basic one.
  9. Why the difficulty in getting on the forum ?

Were they actually OK ? It's the springs that go weak - if you shake the valve and it rattles then they're bin fodder. Alternatively, if they're just gummed up with cak then they could probably be cleaned and reused.
  11. Was at SE on Monday and they had a silver car in there with that done, different I suppose, but not my favourite. Same as Kash had done to his too I think.
  12. Having a dealer here won't make that cheaper, it just means that you'll never be able to bypass the import duty.
  13. Ash Shaunmac, he did it himself. Pretty certain one or two others have as well.

  15. Somewhere in your 'aethos' !
  16. Not at the moment, but you can ring them on (01621) 858856
  17. How queer !!!! I created this forum a couple of weeks ago and I'm sure people had posted in it. Just checked it and the "private forum" button has been selected which means that allegedly only admins and mods can see it  how did that happen  Anyroadup, see if it's all reappeared becuase it still looks the same to me - I could see it even when I wasn't logged in as Admin ....
  18. Worked for me, maybe you have a snoozing caching server somewhere.
  19. Don't be a big girls blouse. It's in the Items Wanted of course and the link works. ;)
  20. Cheeky git, my car had just come back from a 600 mile round trip to Devon and it hadn't stopped raining long enough to wash it !
  21. Nope, I'm a lazy git, I paid SE Nissan to do the job for me. Cost was £1000 (!) and I supplied the parts.
  22. Somebody must've saved the picture of the Mac1 Stilton beast .....
  23. If the TPS itself isn't Donald Ducked then why not just solder new wires on it ? IIRC TPS's are very reasonably priced (for a Nissan part), something like under £30.
