  1. Be that as it may, but SE no longer use that oil AND there are rumours that the spec has changed since it was first introduced. 60w is too thick for a (stock) engine that isn't supposed to use greater than 40w, never used it, never will. Still on original turbos, at 80,000m, running nearly 1 bar on supermarket fuel for the past 50,000 miles.
  2. If you're gonna pay for anything then use Hushmail. I think they also do a free option as well.
  3. Hmmm, that was very nearly rather too close to the truth. Still, live dangererously, eh !

The Devin chip is free. Well the software is, you need to write it to a chip and get it installed of course.
  7. I seem to recollect that sometime soon Hotmail is being blocked from Outlook/Outlook Express, so you'll actually have to visit the site to read the mail, unless you pay something. Anyone confirm this is correct ?

One off mine had the same problem about 6 years back, but she's still here now. More neurotic than before but still in 1 piece and showing few signs of slowing down. So with a bit of luck she'll be OK.
  9. IT has been picking up recently so you stand a reasonable chance of getting somethig wothwhile. Good luck mate.

  14. Just received this :- From: sszikszai Date: 03 November 2004 12:22 Subject: Invitation (in English, French, German) to Zmania 2005 Dear Z Club President and Fellow Z Club members! In the name of the management and membership of the Hungarian Z Club, please let me propose a next year European Z Club gathering in Hungary. (late June or early July). The selection of the venues depend on the shown interest and confirmed preliminary numbers, but would either be at Rabaring in Győr or at Hungaroring in Budapet. During the event we are going to organise various programs, and exhibitions, such as best looking car or racing and ability competitions in different Z classes. We are also going to invite different sponsors and related tuning exhibitors from all over Europe, for serving with wide variety of programs for the participants. If you and your members are interested attending on such a gatherings please make some preliminary survey of the acceptance and let me know your response by the earliest possible time, but not later than end of November. The proposed programs and specific details will be prepared and available after the collected and analysed responses. May the Z force be with you. May the Z force be with you. May the Z force be with you. Sándor Szikszai Founding President of Z Cub Hungary
  15. Well if it all falls through mate you can come over my gaff. It's fireworks night at the cricket club, so you know what that means :duffer: !
  16. I would seriously consider changing the water pump, unless it's obvious that it's been done recently.
  17. Just get the bits delivered round my place mate - I'll sort something out for you ! LOL
  18. IMHO Optimax is marginally better than BP Ultimate. Detting = tinkle, tinkle, Boom !
  19. £150, with what you've just spent ? A drop in the ocean !
  20. Don't go above 14psi, but even then use good fuel and keep an ear open for detting !
  21. How about some of the songs from My Fair Lady ? Like :- 2. Why Can't The English? (cars stop rusting?) 3. Wouldn't It Be Loverly? (if it did 40mpg) 4. With A Little Bit Of Luck (it won't break down today) 5. I'm An Ordinary Man (with a big overdraft) 6. Just You Wait (it'll break down tomorrow) 7. Poor Professor Higgins (had to get his engine rebuilt) 8. The Rain In Spain (falls mainly on the passenger seat) 9. I Could Have Danced All Night (but the PTU failed) 10. Ascot Gavotte (far too difficult this one) 11. On The Street Where You Live (little gits nick your valve caps) 12. Eliza's Entrance (Hmmm, better not say anything here) 13. The Embassy Waltz 14. You Did It (and beat that Boxter again) 15. Show Me (how to repair another duff auto box) 16. Get Me To The Church On Time (without any speeding tickets) 17. Get Me To The Church On Time (Reprise) (OK, but this time be more careful) 18. A Hymn To Him (Surely it should be her?) 19. Without You (I'd be much richer) 20. I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face (and I'll never sell it)
  22. An official JWT chip will have a printed sticky label with a hand written serial number, IIRC.
  23. Correct, and I have proven that ! :o
  24. You can bypass the heater matrix on the engine side. It's a little fiddly, but do-able.
  25. Not sure, but you could be right. In theory the valet key should not open the glove box lock, presume that everything else should work though.
