  1. It's often worth having a ferret through the BullNet web site http://www.bullnet.co.uk/ they have all sorts of opdd things :- http://www.bullnet.co.uk/shops/test/tft.htm
  2. Actually, was probably my fault. I had assumed that you'd used the automated payment, when what I think you'd done was use basic paypal, so your account didn't get updated. Anyway, fixed it manually now.
  3. Yes, you are definitely paid up, there may be an error on the automated subscription system, will check it out and let you know.
  4. I wouldn't say this is 100% reliable, far from it in fact, but it's loadsa fun if you have a memory for old registration plates ... Go to http://www.rac.co.uk/ head for the My RAC link, register and then you can start checking ....
  5. Agreed, Citroen electrics are always rubbish, but the cars are cheap as chips and the diesels run forever. People are scared of the funny nitrospastic suspension, but it's just about as simple as suspension can get and only costs £20 a corner to fix - try getting decent shocks for that ! Also, mine does about 45mpg, so that's over 600miles on a gallon less fuel than you can squeeze into a Z tank !! Plus of course you can raise the boost on the turbo diesels ;)
  6. Robert, On a Jap car the limiter is set in the ECU at 112mph (180km/h), speedo accuracy varies, hence peoples 'view' of when the limiter takes effect. I'm at home this weekend, and not so very far from you, so if you want the problem resolved them drop me a PM/email.
  7. Payment arrived - you're subscribed !
  8. For £200 it sounds like a bargain to me. Give him £180 ! LOL
  9. Yep, I use a USB-serial cable and it does work, can be a bit crash-tastic sometimes though. If you're having trouble try configuring to a high COM port number, like 25. Then open up a terminal application, set it for COM25, link pins 2 & 3 with the tip of a metal pen or something, then any key you touch on the keyboard will be echo'd to the screen. Unless that works then the ConZult won't work either.

Got it today and you will note that you are now 'subscribed' !
  11. Yeah, Turbo Diseasal Xantia, I have one pretty good and cool suspension too ! LOL They also do a V6 if you like munching petrol.
  12. I'll do my best to turn up if I'm around.
  13. Yep, I have matey, I'll bang it off to you now.
  14. Sounds to me like you could have a fault with the ignition switch that is causing things to stay permanently live. As I said in my email I also think that you may have a PTU problem (assuming that the faulty cylinder still does not operate when the engine starts itself!). Firstly, you need to identify the main electrical problem, shouldn' be too difficult with a multimeter (and the knowledge to use it). Are you based near somone who could help you out ?
  15. The end tanks and everything are fine, dunno how difficult it is to swap them over though. PM me to arrange collection.
  16. James, I have an old rad, you can have it if you want. It has a leak, but I'm sure it could be repaired, either by soldering or crimping off one of the cores. Let me know.
  17. 12psi on a stock ECU is fine, as long as the timing is set correctly (ie there is not detting) and you use decent fuel. I ran mine like that for about 2 years.
  18. I just got creative with loads of bits of wood.

Well if you dig some up then we can get them added into the forum smiley library.
  20. Yep, it is a doddle, even if you have mixed parts from a Series I & Series II then all you have to do is swap the instruments in the case. Anyway, have you proven that it's not the speed sensor output, before you change the speedo - that could be be a symptom, not the cause.
  21. Yep, around there somewhere. Usually a little black box with a few wires hanging out. red & black for power, plus a signal in & signal out on other colours.
  22. No, you don't need to remove the engine. Shaunmac has done one too.
  23. Hmmm, think I recognise that numberplate ...
  24. I have posted a complete list in the past, so search in my old posts. Only instructions I'm aware of are here :- http://www.z1motorsports.com/PDFs/Autoto5spconversion.pdf
