  1. Petrol sounds like a very bad idea on vinyl to me. Try meths.
  2. Yeah, those hex bolts are TIGHT - I busted my best Facom allen key getting one of those feckers out !
  3. Job for the appropriate events organiser I think is to sort out a presenation of some sort to the charity. Looks like we have around £650 to donate, couple of Zed's, club cheque, photo opportunity etc

Sorry, I've been away. Your payment arrived a few days back. You are now subscribed.
  5. I think the Castrol Response DOT4.1 is compatible with DOT3 and shares many of the properties of DOT5. That's what I use.
  6. I've fixed dozens of these and it's never once been the resistor (except when someone else has f*cked it up first). Search my old posts.
  7. I did it, you just need double jointed everything, small spanners and lots of patience
  8. I have one you could borrow, where are you ?
  9. Somebody had a bunch of these baided hoses specially made up, could be Jock, or Topless (or someone else!). Better than getting a Nissan part and much cheaper.
  10. Yes, that would be faster (and easier for me).
  11. £18 - they're havin' a fookin' laugh ! Post it to the forum PO Box address and make it payable to "300zx.co.uk Club"

IIRC the offset bayonet indicates that it's a twin filament bulb (it has to fit the right way round), ordinary bayonet is for a single filament bulb.
  13. My TiVo usually tracks it down for me. Peter Kay is brilliant in nearly everything he does.
  14. Now that you're subscribed you can PM, so suggest you send it to "Herman Munster" Welcome !
  15. Some people here spend too much time on eBay !
  16. It's also a SWB, which is rairly rare here.
  17. Arrived today. You are subscribed !
  18. 3 wise men ! LOL
  19. No sign of it yet, typically takes 5 working days if from a different bank, virtually instant if the same one.
  20. If you're talking about the one I think, it was written by AaronJB, on this board.
  21. Looks to me like it worked fine !
  22. I voted for decrease. Not because we should have a zero tolerance, but in order to discourage people from drinking at all. There is always a possibility for some alcohol, even stuff like cough medicine and mouthwash has it ! Therefore, if the limit is less then people shouldn't drink, but the limit should be at a level to avoid prosecution from other residual sources.
  23. I took the headlights out, took them apart, fixed the adjusters, and cleaned everything - took ages. I had 100w bulbs and one of then blew after about 15mins. I also have a few small holes drilled in the top of the headlamp casing to let some of the heat out.
