  1. Can't remember the junction number but you just head down the slip road, traffic lights at the bottom and straight across onto the start of the A14.
  2. It doesn't have to produce max boost to detonate but by frigging with my boost controller I can make mine detonate at 3000rpm under full throttle and that is also with a JWT map.
  3. Sorry, nothing arrived since 21st .....
  4. There's a place in Colchester, called T&C (I think), not sure where else near you. The chaps at Thor Racing would be a good bet.
  5. So are your prop UJ's actually knackered, or does it just need a new support bearing ?(which is what Zeds do have a problem with)
  6. That's probably the most common area to get det, low revs, large throttle opening at max torque. Turn your boost down, back off the ignition timing and increase the fueling - one or all will fix the problem (or at least move it around a bit). Proper fix is getting it setup right on a dyno.
  7. Your address can be updated as described here :- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=43545
  8. Yup, it worked. Thanks
  9. If it is the centre prop bearing that the problem then it usually gets better as it warms up, but not always. Nothing else to do when removing the cats.
  10. There are several ! Plus this is a public forum anyway ! ;)
  11. I seem to recollect about 10-12psi per 1000rpm but I could be wrong. Will depend upon many things of course, like oil, temp, gauge etc. The Nissan pumps are not like Ford ones, they do not give high pressures at low rpms.
  12. Well double check - they may have changed their mind if their underwriter is diferent, but of course you told them that your car is a Fairlady, right ? That's how they'd know. Although, they should have asked ....
  13. A little while back Firebond stopped covering imports IIRC
  14. I know, we're trying to contact Mike to get the list so that I can allocate the numbers from now on.
  15. It's also the point of max torque and most likely to det with tweaked ignition/fuel maps.
  16. If it's currently detting in the midrange the I would expect this chip to be some way from standard. And if it does this with optimax the you better a) be careful, b) check the timing
  17. Trouble is, that it's only there when Mike has filled it in ....
  18. And in English that means what exactly ? Anyway, you aready subscribed, got your payment a week or two back.
  19. XP SP2 should block pop-ups. Chris, gimme a call if you need any help.
  20. It's done. Welcome back !
  21. I have a nice Central20 Racing chip for an auto, which some people seem very impressed with.
