Many years ago I used to work for a double glazing company and down in the factory they played every single one of the old tricks and a few new ones on all the new boys at one time or another. However, once they were out smarted by one of the clever ones. They'd sent him of down the local supplies yard for some "half inch holes". The lad disappeared for most of the morning and eventually came back with some 1/4 inch washers. So they asked him what they were for and he said that he'd been looking everywhere but all they had was 1/4 inch holes and they'd have to file them out themselves ! :D LOL Basically, he'd spent the whole morning wandering round town doing nowt but making them think he was off on a big wind-up.

Personally I'd prefer nearly bald S-03's against Toyos, but I guess it depends what type of feel you like. I like S-02's & S-03's, I hated my Toyos when I first drove them in the wet, now I guess I've got used to them sliding all over the place. Your driving style may vary, for a bit of level setting, I expect to get around 6-7,000 miles for a set of rears and I never smoke them, do donuts etc etc, but I do like to corner hard.

It would be the 'federal' one you need. The California one is tuned specifically for their strict anti-pollution laws using the air-eated fuel.

They'd need to be - I've never been impressed with the T1-S in the wet. What value is the tread wear indicator, wondered whether they may be softer than the old ones ?

Never taken a Skyline apart, but does it have the same internal kind of drumbrake thing that 300's have ? I suspect not.

Well it varies depending upon mood etc, but one that always makes me smile everytime I hear the first few bars is Astro Lounge by Smash Mouth.

Although I voted for normal size plate that's not entirely true. I have bike sized letters for the rear plate (so that it fits right on an import plate) and I also have the same size on the front. The font is slightly odd, but not obviously so. Never had any hassle, but there again I have a blue car, and as everyone knows, it's only red cars and lunatics that get nicked ! ;)

If the movement is side to side then this is the normal torque reaction of the engine, but if it's particuarly bad then it could be down to damaged engine mounts.

Blimey, I've seen hundreds of bands, big overlap with Gio's (notably Larry Miller - virtually no one else seems to have ever seen him) and most of the big rock bands over the past 20 odd years, starting with Samson, Saxon, Iron Maiden etc and moving forward from there. Must have seen Hawkwind 20 times as well. I actually have a gig list of all the ones I ever went to and it stretches to 2 school exercise books !

Forum cheques and forms I posted to AndrewG never arrived. About two months later I got a call from the Post Office saying that "this form is incomplete (needs signing) and what are these unsigned cheques for ?". So it turns out that the mail must have been opened, envelope lost and then someone saw the form was intended for the Post Office and sent it off together with the unsigned cheques. Who then rang me ... Also, I hear that theft of credit card letters has increased significantly, since the Chip and PIN notifications have started being sent out.

No, but I think there was a certain lack of coordination with the people setting stuff off.
