subsription problems !!
Some people do have trouble with Paypal through the forum link, not sure why. You could send us the money direct through Paypal (paypal at 300zx.co.uk) or you could do a bank transfer. Either way drop me an email or a reminder on the forum, so I can update your sub manually.

Superchips do it again
To be fair, there was more wrong with it than just the chip. Spending £23k on a Lotus was their biggest mistake.

O2 sensors
O2 sensors are lambda sensors. The cat temp sensors have no effect on the running of the engine, they just trigger the warning light.

alloys
I tried standard Z wheels on a MkII MR2 turbo and they did not fit - the offset was wrong.
-
Not seen a Z in 6 Months!!!
Well keep your eyes open because my other half is in St Andrews this weekend in her 350.
-
Wheel time!!
Would normally say 5 everytime, but that first pic looks good. Now if you got 5 in the style of pic one, that would be even better.

Which is better
The reasons I voted for #2 are as follows :- Opportunity for more cars with small pictures - do we really only want 12 of our cars featured ? Really good high res pictures will be difficult to find (especially with the weather being rubbish now) There seemed to be less white space and more pics on 2 - after all, this isn't really a calendar, it's just an excuse for pics of cars ...

boost jets
Not yet mate. Did you PM me your address yet ? I'll get it in the post ASAP.
-
Therse mods = 450bhp???
JWT claim 396bhp with air filter, chip and exhaust.
-
boost jets
There are also more than one size (externally) of the jets, the small ones may whizz straight up the pipe !!! Go for the larger ones which should be about 7mm think. Incidentally, I think Danny (DTA Motorsport) sells specialy made jets.

Christmas Lights/Winter lights.
I have just been sent an invite to our "Seasonal Party" - FFS, don't they think it's held at Xmas for a reason !!!!!!!!

Lifesure insurance customers (i.e. you oldies)
Cool, may give that a go, especially as my car is currently uninsured because I baulked at the £567 quote.

1.5" restrictor before main cat????
Probably not. You ought to be able to knock it out with a hammer and a cold chisel.
-
1.5" restrictor before main cat????
Yep. There are a number of changes for the jap spec cars, remember they are limited to 112mph.

How much to pay for ECU chip change?
Thanks guys ! Incidentally, I am up in the NW fairly frequently, so if you could wait a few weeks then I may be able to do it while you wait. If not you could post it to me.

NZR Mates just been arrested
I believe I'm correct in saying that in certain states of the US, eg Louisiana, that your car is considered an extension of your house and therefore is subject to the same 'self defence' (defense) laws. So the outcome of this is that if you catch someone breaking into your car you can 'legally' shoot them in the street. Of course the US is a so called civilised (civilized) society, so you could be arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. However, if it's in a holster on your belt then that's OK. (This is whay many American pickups have a gun rack in the back window - then the weapon is not 'concealed'). Which would you prefer UK or US ? Discuss ....

VBH has she still got it?
Oh dear, don't start me - and she loves Ducati's too !

help - have i made the right choice?!?!
LOL, I know people who used to race around the roads here. They all had switches for their brake lights, so if someone was following them they didn't get prior warning for the 90 degree bends around fields (and into ditches!)
