I can tell you that the injectors fire on both strokes to increase the amount of fuel, rather than sequentially. Maybe I'm having a bit of brain fade, but what's CTS ? The O2 sensors are on a closed loop system and do nothing after about 3000rpm, I doubt they do much at all on a cold start. They do have heaters though which enable them to start functioning sooner than that non-heated types.

Whilst there is hardly anything to go wrong, some of them tend not to last very long. Also, these simple devices DO affect other speed related control systems such as HICAS, autobox, power steering etc.
