Help with misfire please.
Make 100% sure you have the ECU connector properly seated. Do you know which cylinder it is ? Have you checked the injectors are all operating (or at least clicking) ?

new long commute, may have to trade..
I think work will have to pay the difference in your travel costs for a year if they are moving your office further away.

Where's the best place to buy a battery?
Try your local motor factor, typically significantly cheaper than Halford, especially if you can convince them to give you some trade discount. All these guys are used to giving trade discount, so sometimes all you have to do is ask for their best price and see what happens.

Garage lighting
I had a couple of old office light fittings that were slung out becuase they don't meet the current regs. Each held four 1m tubes and after I had repaired the weird ballast/starter things worked great and threw out really good light.

Help! Data Recovery!
If the drive is spinning up and it's not making clunking noises then there us a chance that it's the disk controller board that has failed. You could consider getting another identical disk and swapping the board over. This is one of the early steps that a data recovery company would take, they are likely to be quite expensive though.

what spark plugs to use
Nissan had NGK make specific plugs for this engine I seem to remember. It is possible that they are now discontinued and you will only find stock with a specialist. I did try Iridiums once but they didn't last long. +%28z32&cPath=882_883_915_916"]http://www.courtesyparts.com/kb_search_result.php?keywords=[22401]+%28z32&cPath=882_883_915_916

RHD to LHD
I've never looked, but I had assumed that every shell has both sets of holes either marked and not punched, or blanked, as all models were made in the same factory in Japan. The problem with getting LHD specific parts for a 2000 model of course is that there weren't any made, so you would have to use older '95/96 parts from the US as those would probably be the most recent available. Not sure whether that applies to any parts that matter of course, but dash would be the most obvious. I would have thought that everything else is do-able though.

Would you believe it ?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200941071246&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123 Aside from the rest of the nonsense .... "7/ IT HAS HAD A SLIGHT RIP ON THE SIDEWALL APPROX ONLY 8 CM LONG ( WHICH CAUGHT ON A CURB ) SO I JUST GLUED IT AS IT HADN'T GONE THROUGH THE METAL INSIDE."

Another custom manifold in the works.
Maybe it was as well, but it was someone much closer to (my) home.

Another custom manifold in the works.
Looks amazing ! I know someone who was working on a similar design but using six throttle bodies.

wireless router
Not quite accurate, you can chain the routers as long as the second one has an Ethernet hand-off, it would be called a cable rather than an ADSL router. It may cause some confusion if both routers use the same LAN IP range, but it does still work. But anyway agree with some of the other comments such as getting Sky to send you a working one or use a wireless extender. Quite a lot of wireless routers call also act as extenders using the WDS protocol (which can often be manufacturer specific)

Graphite/gunmetal or silver are my favourites.

Bought myself another Z
Very nice. Personally not keen on the ugly Stillen front though, it doesn't even appear to fit very well.

Yellow Z parked in central London near Tottenham Court Rd
It was Saturday afternoon, in a private car park in Windmill Street. Looked very nice.

ECU Identification
As a wild stab in the dark I'd say these are US numbers only. I think the F/C refers to the emissions controls for Federal / California.

ECU Identification
Look for the Nissan part number. Eg 23710- 40P01
