  2. I had mine blasted, washed out and chemically cleaned, came up really well.
  3. So, I guess the best option is to let the refurbing company do their best and then if that is not good enough decide on the next step. Do you have a choice of refurb company ? Some are better than others. I guess it is in the best interest of the tyre fitting place to get it done properly and so far they seem to have been pretty reasonable in their approach.
  4. So how much would a replacement wheel cost ?
  5. Happy Birthday Lee.
  6. Happy Birthday Joel.
  7. Happy Birthday Joel.
  8. I will if funds permit.
  9. Well the Z has finally arrived at the new house, having been abandoned in my former neighbours yard for three months. Have just ordered a car cover for it from eBay ...
  10. If you had the spare garage space I'd be round there like a shot !
  11. Yeah, I know. Trouble is I don't really want to sell it ...

  13. I guess I have to face facts and admit that mine is for sale ..... What should I be asking ?
  14. The missing images are just arrows/pointers, eg indicating same as the previous image as far as I can tell. I should fix it really (one day) but I didn't think anyone looked at it any more.
  15. Same here, I didn't know about Supplement III either.
  16. It's unlikely you damaged the ECU when you butchered the screws unless you were particularly violent with it. I could socket it and provide a chip, but I'm away quite a lot over Christmas so I wouldn't want to promise to do it before that.
  17. Happy Birthday Steve.
  18. 'Cept he's likely to be working now ! :D
  19. Is there anything special/different about the 370z brakes? All I'm saying is, if they are the same as the 350z, then don't pay over the top just because they are from a 370. The 350 brakes are good and are an easy bolt-on upgrade.
  20. Possibly, although we've moved so it may be a different pub ! The Axe & Compases, now only a mile walk, which is not quite like the 10 yards to The Black Lion !
  21. Thanks Joel, I have room to store it outside here too, just didn't want to. Realistically, it never gets used, apart from to test ECU's for people, so maybe it's time for it to go.
  22. Actually, no. I don't really want to destroy anything, but options are limited, (as are funds) ...
  23. Actually, there is already a lean-to storeroom on the back, so I had considered that. Extending out the front is not really an option as the other garage next door would look really odd. To be honest the whole structure looks delicate, so I'm not sure how much butchering it would stand. However, in the meantime I really need to find somewhere else to store the car. It's currently in a friends barn, but it can't stay there much longer as it's blocking in their horsebox which will need to be moved very soon.
