  1. Noticed today with the front wheels jacked up, once spun they rub against the brakes, and barely make one full rotation before stopping, now is this normal or are they binding/rubbing too much. and if so, how do i prevent this?
  2. count me in too. i drivve mine daily so it will always be ready. :-) EA BOYS. NORWICH AND NEWMARKET seem to be neutral venues. most live close to both of them. just food for thought.
  3. it has 3 sets silencers, one each side on the japspeed decats, one either side just before the back box, then the two back boxes.
  4. bump help still needed on this
  5. do you want a pic damodaman666, mine is a SWB though, so the fitment is different.
  6. As above, can the TT fall into safety boost with the stock boost controller solenoids disconnected?? (using electronic boost controller)
  7. an example of the bungs. should it help anyone else in this situation. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exhaust-Bung-Tunable-Insert-To-fit-3-5-4-4-5-5-/400195290487?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5d2d7f8577
  8. Once i know the correct size, im going to have a custom back box's fitted to my TT, it currently has 2 4.5 inch exits on the back boxes which are too loud, i do however use bungs to silence them which reduce the diamater to 1.5 inches. but with these power is extremely restricted. now what is the smallest diamater i can have on the backbox tail pipes, that is unrestrictive? and will not cause power losses. i may even go for twin doubles exits if this is easier. thanks gents/gals. p.s the car is modded. with larger turbos, and higher boost levels.
  9. how do you 'tie them to the frame' evolution Z, id be up for doing this DIY with the right info.
  10. how did you do that???? the fuel one in particular. love it. can you do mine?????
  11. smithy, i know that i will not be able to view the readings when driving, but it will serve its purpose well, when im working on the car or have theorys about the temperature with the engine running at idle. etc.
  12. when its TT give me a shout bud, seeing as your right on our door step me you Alan Tony and King should have some mini meets. ours are the best though (SWB rocks) :op
  13. bad times there Marty, should be able to get at least mid 6's with that motor. :-) i launch mine at about 2.5k, but it still wheelspins. :-( any more than that and its like doing a rolling burnout hahahaha. im crap at launching.
  14. Marty.... on a side note, how did it go with that 'bird' you were meeting after the Z bash lol. i was thinking about that on the way home, your class mate :-)
  15. will do gents. looks fine to me, but i will ask for dimensions tomorrow.
  16. lol i was thinking that too, whos Mike??
  17. ive just bought one, saw it and loved the idea. then passed it on to you lot, i dont have an aftermarket temp gauge in my car, so this should be a nice accurate reading.
  18. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-NISSAN-300ZX-MAZDA-RX7-RADIATOR-CAP-W-GAUGE-/380230738701?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item588784a30d
  19. very bad, and getting worse. 180-200 ish to a full tank 70-75 quid put £25 in yesterday on a motorway run and only managed 62 miles. engine mods EGR delete AIV delete water bypass wiseco pistons eagle rods cometec head gasket (not spelt correctly) unprated valve springs ( cannot remember correct terminology) tried both standard and t28 turbos. (no difference in economy) front mount intercooler, hard pipes. full turbo back exhuast system boost controller, set at 7psi (during cold months) ECU chip. tried Zworld and John dixon. (no change) stock and 555 injectors. (no change in economy) standard cams lightweight flywheel RPS clutch nothing to major really.
  20. Persistant problem. and im completely out of ideas, can you all help me as to what can cause this. my list so far is thermostat faulty coolant temp sensor faulty O2 sensors faulty. Fuel leaks, tank leaks. Boost leaks Vac leaks. would love some help as to what else can cause this as id like to change everything.
  21. no difference?????? damm it . anyone else done theirs and noticed any difference, in fuel usage/ tank range.
  22. m3 is faster all day long, i have a friend with a e46 m3 csl and its rapido, 4.8 to 60 from the factory, and remapped it can run up to 170mph+ no lag, instant acceleration, and revs very fast, traction controls, stability controls, etc etc, it leaves a Z from standstill, and put them both on a wet road.. well we both know the answer. from what ive read 400hp needs bigger turbos. and when people with stock tubs state 400hp most people laugh them off in denial. plus as you say it feels and looks much better, having the choice of the 2 i'd be an E46 man all day, comfort, no noise, power, class, stability, reliability. fuel economy, and can take your mates/ family anywhere :-) god i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the e46 M3's, sorry fellow Z fans. dont kill me.
  23. Just ordered new 02's from Zcentre, as im gonna go through the process of elimination. Now has anyone had theres changed and noticed an improvement in fuel range/ economy? if so how much? and secondly is this a DIY or specialist job to replace them?
