  1. ^^^^^ agreed Does anybody else feel that the developement of completely new but tastefully subtle body kits for the Z32, is long overdue. A lot of them; even the more asthetically pleasing kits, are starting to look a bit dated now in my opinion.
  2. Appologies (to Luke) if I've got this wrong but, ain't most of the Zcentre body kits copies of other brand originals anyway?? Not sure why someone would get a sad on about somebody buying a copy of a copy on ebay?
  3. ^^^^^^ I'll give that a go then Just recieved the extinguisher system and cut off switch in the post Hopefully I'll get this fitted as soon as the roll cage is welded in
  4. Will you be the guy in the water tank? :whistling:
  5. A water fight????:hyper::hyper::hyper: uh...........no! :whistling:
  6. Is that my beloved self built surfy' camper being ripped the piss out of by someone who works for............a camper van dealership!!!!! What next, my track car gonna get slated by the spotty kid who dishes out corn on the cobs at KFC? :tt2::tt2::tt2::tt2::tt2::tt2: Real sorry that I didn't spend £1500 on your company's little cupboards and shiny taps and fancied giving it a go myself
  7. Quote: Blimey, you could get a good second had VW Transporter for less than that! ZEE GERMANS!!!!:scared:Noooooooooooooooooo!
  8. This isn't a For Sale thread; not just yet anyway. I bought this Toyota Granvia earlier in the year to convert to a camper/day van for surfing. It's pretty much complete now, however I'm in two minds with what to do next. I don't want to shell out on a full respray at a bodyshop as I do intend to sell it very shortly; though I have considered a couple of lairy colours (sky blue or DRIFTWORKS orange & black etc) with a few decals to set it off. Regardless, the paintwork and bodywork could do with a bit of TLC in places, though it's completely rust free (like most good imports). If I didn't have the Hilux I'd keep it for towing the Z32 to track days and surfing, but as it is, I'm going to sell her unfortunately. It has the same 3ltr TD engine as my Hilux but only has approx 70k on the clock, which for a diesel is bloody good. I've tried to price these up to see how much it's worth but can't really be sure, as the prices do vary, ranging from about £4,000 all the way up to £16,000+ My question is, would it make sense to have it re-sprayed in order to increase it's value, maybe fit the spare TV/DVD etc or leave it as it is; T cut and polish it and then advertise it for sale???????
  9. The bolts for the rear lower arms are proving to be a pain in the backside to remove as the cars up on stands. The bolts aren't rusted, they're just very difficult to get any leverage on The obvious solution I suppose would be to use air tools, however I can't get the car into work to get it up on the ramps This one was relatively easy to undo, however...... these two are a nightmare any suggestions? :hammer:
  10. That's 1 disc done, just 3 more to go......
  11. Sorry to hear that you're breaking it, that's a real shame mate Ref the KOYO radiator, I've got one fitted (got it from ZCENTRE), however if your rad is larger still, I might consider it as an alternative I managed to pick up some bov's in the end, a nice looking pair of HKS SSQV's I'll keep an eye out for your 'For Sale' thread bud :thumbup1:
  12. Besides, it's the inner beauty and strength that counts :tt2::tt2::tt2:
  13. This looks like a nice interesting build mate :thumbup1: Interesting = Good Bland as fook', boring and same, same = Bad :rockon::rockon::rockon::rockon:
  14. To be fair, Usein Bolt isn't the prettiest fooker' but that doesn't stop him from being fast as fook on the track! :tt2:
  15. If you speak to 'KAM' at DRIFTWORKS he'll be able to sort you out bud. Most DRIFTWORKS parts for the S13/S14 and Skyline GTS-T will fit the Z32 TT I've got the following DRIFTWORKS parts already fitted: -FRONT ADJUSTABLE UPPER CAMBER ARMS -FRONT LOWER ARMS -TENSION RODS -HICAS REPLACEMENT KIT -TRACTION ARMS -REAR ADJUSTABLE UPPER CAMBER ARMS *I'LL BE FITTING THE REAR LOWER ARMS THIS WEEK
  16. Start them young eh! My 5 year old son, James, is really getting involved in this build project He started to get to work on removing the surface rust off the brake discs, and to be fair, he's done an excellent job he's actually more technically minded than a lot of mechanics that I've used in the past Well done son :thumbup1:
  17. This is the waffle that I'm trying to work my way through just now, in order to understand what it can/can't do "GReddy's new super multi-tasker is the PRofec e-01 designed as a combination boost-controller, data display / logger and e-manage programmer. The e-01 can provide superior boost response, increased boost, warning meter functions, 3 channel data-logging and access to all the programming features provided with the latest e-manage support tool. Even when used as a boost controller only, the e-01 has features to smooth out the boost curve. With both an auto and manual setting for both external and actuator style wastegates, the new PRofec can alter its new compact, high capacity solenoid valve via various RPM ranges. The large LCD screen with green electro-luminescent backlighting is easy to see. Other standard features include two preset boost levels, a timed over-take boost and compatibility with our Remote Switching System. The data display can view 3 different data channels simultaneously such as boost, RPM or any other channel inputted by the e-manage. The data can be logged up for 3 hours on an SD card while also giving warning set points and peak and hold values. There is also a non-PRofec e-01 version that is only used for e-manage programming and data logging". Still very confused????????????????
  18. Apparently it's a Greddy Profec E-01 I traded my old APEXi AVC-R a few months back so now I'm in need of a suitable replacement I posted a thread up on the DRIFTWORKS forum asking for suggestions. The most highly recomended were the Greddy Profec B II and the APEXi AVC-R (latest edition) Whilst I was pricing them both up I came across this Greddy Profec E-01. After a bit of research it would appear that people generally upgrade from the AVC-R to this???? though I have no idea how the Profec E-01 compares to the Profec B II
  19. ^^^^^^^They do look very similar I saw the new Lexus LFA in the flesh back in December '09 when I was at the Top Gear studio I have to say, it did look a bit something special (Pic off the net)
  20. Anybody had any experience with one of these?
  21. I used to have KYB's fitted to my 'Z' before I switched to TEIN coilovers the KYB's were a really nice drive, not too hard and not too soft, so a good all rounder (at a good price) in my opinion. I've got Tokico's fitted to one of my Z31's and they're alright (I appreciate that they are on a different car), maybe it's just their age but they don't feel as firm as the KYB's just my two pence worth
  22. My appologies in advance all Not wanting to hi-jack this thread or sound bitter mate but do me a favour, as I can't make the event, if you see Julian Barnes or his scamming mrs, Karren Kinnish from SEVERNSIDE IMPORTS/SEVERNSIDE JAPANESE IMPORTS (or whatever they're calling their business this week) ask him when I'm likely to get my £14,200 back :cursing: Since he's a scamming prick and this fact was highlighted on the DRIFTWORKS forum back in April, you'll notice I'm sure that they've now changed the decals on their company drift car from SEVERNSIDE IMPORTS to just SEVERNSIDE. I'm sure Luke Fink wasn't even aware that the company he was driving for had gone bankrupt as of last year, owing a lot of people a lot of money! Well you wouldn't, considering they re-opened under a different name (SEVERNSIDE JAPANESE IMPORTS) just a mile up the road. After his Mrs declared bankrupcy, taking my money with her, Julian then went and set up shop just 500m from their house. Just let the thieving pricks know that this hasn't gone away and the guy from Hereford wants his money back!!! Edit: If you're not sure what Julian looks like...... "As you can see mate, he's more Burger King than Drift King!" Again, my appologies all....rant over
  23. Looks like the old rivalry between Supra and GTR may be revived, interesting :thumbup1:
  24. I finally managed to find the time to fit the passenger side front lower arm today. It went on pretty much hassle free I've also managed to source a much better ATL fuel cell This cell is made from carbon/kevlar and has just been removed from a Cosworth Rally car I priced these up and originaly it cost about £1600 I picked it up at an absolute bargain pice, considering it included a built in swirl pot, lift pump, filters, braided fuel lines, connectors, aluminium case and cover and a carbon fibre mounting base. I've been informed that I'll need to fit a second facet pump, as the previous owner removed one of them along with the Bosch 044 fuel pump, to fit to his new Rally car. As it's already set up for a Bosch 044 fuel pump straight off, it makes my life a lot easier
  25. My thoughts exactly mate
