  1. Good luck with that mate, like some have said, anything is repairable if you have the cash, you just have to decide if its worth it to you. Take it that its a UK spec car??
  2. You are doing a fantastic job mate - Jealous!
  3. Just to clarify...NO. Miles out.
  4. You probably already know this, but Akitas need to be mastered, lovely dogs (I have one), but very strong minded and they want to dominate everything! I am soft as muck with my dog, but equally she knows I'm boss when it matters. They tend not to be good with other dogs so mix it as much as poss now and they get very possessive and protective with age.
  5. On my series 2 I can only aim at feet and screen together in economy mode, if I press screen demist it forces the air con compressor on? Is it possible to aim at screen only, but with out the compressor kicking in?
  6. For £20k I'd rather buy the excellent Audi RS4. Proper motor!
  7. New tubs, 555's and appropriate chip is all thats needed for 400bhp.
  8. Any idea when the repeat is?
  9. The person filming this is a cock. The decent thing would have been to help, she was probably aware she was being filmed and felt about 1 inch tall.
  10. Hi guys, looking to fit some front upper arms (Driftworks), just wondering if there is anything I need to be aware of? Any special tools, new nuts or anything that I might need to make the job easier? Looks like a straight number, but thought it best to ask the Pro's! Cheers. :thumbup1:
  11. Are you serious! Thats terrible economy, so a full £70 tank you'd only get 150miles! Is that lots of town driving? Like I said above I can get over 300 miles per tanks easily, but to be fair my routes dont include much town traffic. I've just worked out a rough MPG for you of 13mpg - these aren't 6litre V8's you know...
  12. Yes I agree, your consumption is very high, I can quite easily get 330miles to a tank if driven reasonably and that will include the odd blast, 14-16mpg is American V8 economy, these cars can do 25mpg quite easily.
  13. And I'm in Scunny with a blue one, but you're unlikely to see it cos its always tucked up in the garage!
  14. Drop MJP a line or a msg, he's sure to be cheaper than the local dealer.
  15. Its amazing how the temp varies across the country, here in S****horpe its currently -11 outside. This morning at 7:30 the Van indicated -16.5!!
  16. Yep, me just got a 50" plasma LG TV - very pleased with it. And as above, IMO the picture quality is noticably better than a LCD T.V. TBH never been impressed by LCD T.V. This plasma is spot on.:)
  17. The fact that the passenger side wheel does lean in more does kinda point towards a more worn suspension/bush component cos that side usually takes more of a beating on the roads going over drainage holes, potholes etc. Your drivers side is probably more true even though you could do with it having more lean in. Infact the same is true of my front end - non adjustable camber and yet when I had it checked the passenger side had more negative camber by far. Thats why I changed my lower and upper arms both sides to 'reset' it if you like.
  18. I get you mate, surely it would suggest that one side as a more 'worn' suspension component/bush/bearing/balljoint for the camber to be so different. If its not that then it might suggest a slight chassis problem, never know if its been in a small crash or walloped a curb hard at some point b4. Surely though making the wheels lean in so much is going to wear you tyres down real fast?
  19. Unfortunately this seems to be the case with many sellers:(
  20. I dont know, fit the 335d (3litre straight 6 twin turbo diesel) and I think it will shift well enough!
  21. Base model!:surrender: I would say that the SWB TT is actually the most focused performance variant of the 300zx as apposed to being a base model. The base models are surely the NA's either SWB or LWB.
  22. I think its something to do with the door light relay. The door switch operates a relay. Press it and you'll hear it. The relay then powers the light. BUT if you switch the bulb off and open the door the relay still operates so the drain comes from the energising of the relay which will be power up the whole time the door is open!
  23. No track time or extreme abuse, just got proper steering wheel wobble at low and high speeds under braking. At first I thought it was worn suspension, but the front is all new and problem still there. Wheels are fine. I took it to a mechanic after scratching my head with this one. He checked all the front suspension - said absolutely no play found, but he said the discs were warped. Put the car on the MOT brake tester and found inbalance on braking effort supporting the warped disc thought. I have had new lower arms, upper arms, tension rods, drop links, arb+rack bushes, springs, shocks and associated hardware. The symptoms are very warped disc like. What else can it be?
