Engine Oil Dipstick Stuck
Really stoopid problem to have, done an engine swap while engine was out I resealed sump. cant remember if kept dipstick in or not but apart from that its been untouched. The dipstick comes out about 10mm and stops you can fully rotate the dipstick both in the home position and 10mm out position. I've tried to Yank on it to pull it out and it won't budge? Anyone any ideas?

Anyway I'm going to have to stick to chicken wire as my wings west skirts have it built in and looks ok

I have too, got the fine. My spacing was normal could have made it look like something else but didn't, there's some people who have expensive cars and there plates really take the pi55 and they never seem to get any bother.

Starting car after being unused for long time
I've done this before but I have taken the green (or maybe bleu?) relay out near the drivers accelerator pedal, thought that was the fuel pump relay?

TT Engine For Sale
Still got this really want it gone now bumping into the new classifieds section :) I purchased a car from a forum member a few years ago which had a seized turbo with the intent of putting my engine in, anyway it drove ok (obviously not as it should), but I was light footed and continued to drive it for the next 12 months with no rattles or knocks. I then took the car off the road with good intentions of putting my old kit on and swapping over a fair few parts, engine, manual box, bodykit, leather seats well the lot lol. The engine has just been sat in the corner of the garage for the last 18 months it has no turbo's, and no plenum so basically its bare plus injectors with a few sensors on. The engine is from a 92 Jap TT auto and has covered 79250KMs = 49243 miles when removed. On a small pallet just needs banding up. Collection from Bolton preferred but I have no engine crane. Delivery will be about £60 Good Working Engine when removed no knocks or rattles. Offers Please

Don’t buy one of these for oil changes!!!!
I got a clark one of those years ago and found it o.k. the diff oil is a lot thicker (stiffer) than gearbox oil though and needs more pressure like you say, it never leaked. Can't have paid more than £12 for mine from machine mart.
