  1. One thing to bear in mind is mixing water with waterless coolant: Evans FAQ - http://www.evanscoolants.com/evans_waterless_engine_coolants_faqs.html Q. Can I add water to Evans Waterless Coolant? A. Yes, but only in an emergency. Evans Waterless Coolant is completely miscible with Water, however once you exceed 5% the benefits of Evans Waterless Coolant are compromised. We recommend that as soon as possible you refill with Evans Waterless Coolant to regain its benefits. So if you need to top up you will need to have waterless coolant to hand to avoid degrading the benefits. A small top up (in emergency) with water means starting over again with WC. Also, you will also need to completely drain the water from the engine before using WC. I've never tried that with the engine in place (the engine block drain plugs are somewhat difficult to access) and don't know how much water would remain even if you did.
  2. What do you mean by "universal" fitting? There are Bosch ones (I'd have to go and find out which) that are equivalent to the OEM ones but don't have the Nissan connectors on them (they are bare wired). Do you mean that?
  3. All credit to you both for giving him a new life. Our goldens go bonkers when they go to the seaside, maybe meet up sometime?
  4. Welcome! It would be nice to see pictures of your UK car. Mine is a '94 which I've owned since '98, so another long term UK spec owner!
  5. Not particularly, have a search in the "for sale" section. Usually around the £400 to £500 mark. Here is one example (now sold): http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?179508-Manual-Conversion-Kit&highlight=manual and AutoModz may have another: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?179827-wanted-manual-gearbox-convertion&highlight=manual BTW, the car I linked to earlier is a Manual.
  6. That one is a Manual. I wouldn't let the transmission put you off though, autos can be converted to manuals quite easily. Quite a few owners in the Club have done so.
  7. Welcome! Did you see this post from one of the Club's traders? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?179989-300zx-tt-manual&p=1854831&viewfull=1#post1854831
  8. Can you take a better picture of the metal cube with the two visable red pipes connected to it? Is there another air line not visable in your photos connected to it? Are there any electrical connections or controls?
  9. Russ, I have a pair of new OEM O2 sensors with the part# 22690-30P00 printed on the Nissan packaging. The sensors themselves are both stamped with an outline Nissan "hamburger" logo with the text "LIC. BOSCH A24-621 118 84080" on one and "LIC. BOSCH A24-621 118 78090" the other.
  10. The part# for a blue tint 2+2 rear windscreen is 90300-37P00. The diagram below shows the various elements used in its fixing. Try for a s/h one off a breaker. http://nissan4u.com/parts/300zx/el_z32/1993_1/type_1/body_back_door_and_rear_body/back_door_panel_and_fitting/
  11. Why not post a "wanted" on here? Worth a try - you could find that a s/h one in reasonable condition is here in the UK. This one was available a while back: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?178905-WANTED-Rear-Number-Plate-Light-Loom&p=1842080&viewfull=1#post1842080
  12. Best wishes on your Birthday Tom!
  13. What is the part you are after?
  14. You aware of the Nissan fix to the "D" rings? http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.558
  15. Just wait until you're married!
  16. I had R33 GTR Brembos on the front for many years and found them a good setup for the car (with stock rear brakes) for road use. Are you planning to use your car on the track?
  17. Where do K-Sport (or D2 for that matter) publish the piston sizes used in their front and rear calipers for the Z32? With that information you can work out F/R brake bias.
  18. Hopefully light at the end of the tunnel for you. Maybe a job for someone with small hands?
  19. I removed both front and rear shields as I thought they looked odd with them just bent out of the way. Haven't experienced any problems without them in place.
  20. I had R33 GTR front brakes for a long while and they are a great upgrade for a hard driven car. I'm not familiar with the specs of the GTO MK3 rear brakes, do they fit without modification?
  21. OEM R33 and R34 GTR front discs are the same spec (Nissan part# 40206-AA300).
