Any Royal Mail Employee's on the Forum?
I understand why people feel the need to strike but history tells us these things are largely responsible for the destruction of British industry. As well as incompetent and short sighted management of course, and the fact that unlike the US, France, Germany, Italy etc., our government does not feel the need to retain core skills in the country and is prepared to let major iconic companies collapse. Except for the banks of course, where the money pit is endless for those who ruined the economy... Rant over.

Lexus LF-A : More photos
Better looking than any Ferrari?

Lexus LF-A : More photos
It was officially unveiled today and will cost an amazing $375,000. 4.8litre V10, 560bhp. 202mph and 0-62mph in 3.7secs. Nice car, stupid price, and for that kind of money, I would buy a GT-R, Nismo 370Z and a Ferrari (or 2). May be a roller as well... Anyway, below are some photos. New Lexus. More than a little like the GTR??
Still trying to work out the shape! First I thought it was disguised with bits of something stuck on. Now I'm thinking that's what it actually looks like. May be not the best colour but looking somewhat strange at the moment...

This isn't the one they are calling the new Celica is it? It's supposed to be developed with Subaru.

Which Laptop for the wife??
I take it the Asus eee PC is no good then, with it's 7" screen! Personally I've had no issues with either Dell (4+ hard years and still going strong - touch wood!) or Acer (2 years), but it's a matter of luck. The main thing to watch is good battery life (which is important to me). If you want 3-4 hours, then your talking £6-800 for a Toshiba/Samsung, where as you can get that kind of life out of an Acer or Dell for £4-500.

£30 to do 60 miles
9.5 MPG assuming petrol is 1.05p/litre. Impressive!

Paint Time
Can't beat red. Go for Ferrari blood red if possible. Not all reds are the same...

Size of rear wiper blade
I don't know about anybody else, but my rear wiper blade is only 16" long, which is pretty pathetic as it doesn't clear enough area. I've now replaced it with an 18" blade which is far better but am thinking of 20 or 22". Has anyone else fitted a longer blade and are there any disadvantages?

Swap Momo Steering Wheel for an OEM NA Wheel?
I'll get some better pics up tomorrow (if I get home before dark!) but I'd say pretty good. No scrapes or tears, but some of rim is faded, i.e. some of the leather is shiny whilst on other parts of the rim it's dull. Probably easy to glam up again.

Swap Momo Steering Wheel for an OEM NA Wheel?
Hi Chaps, Now that I'm fully subscribed, hopefully I can post this without it getting moderated! I currently have a Momo steering wheel in my car but would like to swap it for an OEM NA wheel. Please note that it must be one without the cruise control as apparantly some parts of the boss and fittings are different. Anyone interested in a swap or have an NA wheel to sell? My wheel is shown below. Thanks.

NA OEM Steering Wheel
ck300z, I have no intention to do any trading and was just looking for some advice and guidance. However, to save the hassel, more than happy to become a subscribed member. Once I make the payment, will I automatically get the avatars and all of the other facilities that subscribed members seem to have? Thanks.

NA OEM Steering Wheel
Strange I have to say. So how do I become a subscribed member?

Ferrari Enzo - Ferrari F430 - Ferrari F40?
F40, in the same way that a Z32 would always beat a 350 and 370.

Replacing the rear boot cover with a 'real' parcel shelf
Has anyone replaced the hatch/boot cover with something more substancial, i.e. a real parcel shelf. On the basis that a lot of the noise in the car comes from this area, I thought something more solid would make a bif difference. Any ideas?

Stolen Cosworth Sapphire
At one time these were supposed to be the most stolen cars in the UK. Looks like this is still the case! Not good at all and must be very stressful. BTW, what is the record of the Z? Anyone had one stolen? (I hope not obviously!).
