Good point stu, think they are front drive. My mate has a golf with an audi tt 1.8t lump in it, thats front drive, it's running approx 230bhp. It's almost impossible to drive, the torque steer is horrendous! He was told that the most you can put through the front wheels is approx 250bhp :confused:

He claims to have dyno printouts of the bhp, so it could be possible. Have seen richie beamonts 1.8cc 200sx s13 with a proven 650bhp!

Apparantly...you can. Michelin recommend 225's be fitted to rims.....6'' - 8''. 7'' is the preferred choice though. Have spoke to a guy in the trade who says they will go on!

Ok, guys. Removed the headlights...what a ******* job that was! Put 'em in the oven for 10-15mins to release the bitumen stuff. They came apart really easy after that, have painted the base coat (4 coats yellow), just gotta apply the pearl laquer, hopefully tomorrow, then put 'em back in! Will get some pics up for you to see as soon as it's done..... :)

Welcome mate..... Use o/d off for urban driving o/d on for m'ways etc... Power button is fun! Holds in gear higher up the rev range. Hold button...think this is for driving in snow/ice etc :confused: If it's a fresh import, you will need an additional oil cooler for the autobox, if it's been in the uk for a while it may have one. But check anyway! Cheerz....Simon
