If you go for an import, be sure to get the deregistration doc's and the auction sheet, these will have the mileage on them. Clocking is pretty rare in japan, considered a no-no. It's the unscrupulous uk dealers who clock them. People seem to forget these cars were £35k+ when new, and are still technologically advanced even by todays standards. There still hasn't been a car made 15yrs on that looks anywhere near as good as a zed (other than £100k+ exotics).

Spotted a black h-reg z, standard trim. Cruising through Drayton (oxfordshire) 6'ish saturday 19th. I waved, but as usual....i was in the astra :x: I hate it when that happens!!!!

Unless they're a specialist trader, the customer will probably know more about the z than they do! :rolleyes: Usually find the ads that dont state the mileage are high mileage cars, they ALWAYS state that it has a HRW (heated rear windscreen) though! And RWW (rear wash wipe), all of which are standard on a base model corsa shitbox!! :xxx:

It's a passion/hobby call it what you like, going to meets, meeting fellow z owners & having a beer & a chat, thats what its all about. It aint as if we're out trying to get our leg over with the barmaid now is it? Women have to have something to be jealous about, something to moan about. Otherwise they get bored! Saying that, my first marriage went down the pan 'cos of me racing motocross, spending all week stripping/cleaning then rebuilding the bike, only to have to do it all again the following week! She just didn't like being a bike widow! But giving an ultimatum of me or the z, or whatever it is, is a bit childish (imo), but i dont know your situation? But rest assured...if you do eventually choose the z, the next woman will be exactly the same....trust me! :rolleyes:
