Yep, sounds like an electrical/wiring prob. Do you have a grounding kit fitted? if not, i'd recommend one, worked wonders for mine!

Nice motor, mate of mine had a mk2 vr6, now got a mk3 20v turbo... Heres a pic of the mk2..

Can do a basic service no probs, oil/filters etc. Anything more than that, it turns into an MFI wardrobe...ie: lots of nuts/bolts left over! Then spend the next 2 weeks wondering whats gonna fall off first!! :rolleyes:
