1. Thats pretty cool, bet that old ruin has some stories to tell. Real shame these places are left to rot away. It won't be long before the local councils will be demolishing places like this due to their dumbass health & safety policies. They're probably still sending council tax bills there anyway...
2. If it hasn't rained for a while, the roads will be really greasy & slippy when it does, all the rubber on the tarmac from the dry weather causes it. Go steady! :innocent:
3. Same here, not a metro though! Just sold a mountainbike, the guy paid by paypal last night, i transfered it across last night, will take 5 days or so. The guy has just been to pick it up. Maybe this 21 day thing is until you are a verified seller?
4. Is the door locked or unlocked when he cant move the key? Locked.. fire escape hazard. Unlocked.. insurance will be invalid. Either way it's the landlords job to fix the lock, is there a letting agent involved?
5. From the front it looks almost believable, from the rest of the angles it looks awful and it's got those fugly rear lights too. The 240z looks beautiful.. no comparison.
6. Had similar problem with mine before, try the 'clear lense illumination' fuse. Also, try waggling the hazard switch about, sometimes it gets jammed and then affects the other lights.
7. We also invented the best sport on the planet.. motocross. First known race was in 1924, then known as scrambling.
8. The Jam & Northern Soul music...:cool2: Errrr... Rover cars..lol.
9. Oh yes indeed! Those were the days, my mate lost his cherry onstage at a king kurt gig at Reading university... lol, still gets the piss took out of him now. Still got my jacket covered in paddy smiths in the loft..:cool3:
10. I stand corrected! Yep, was Heather Thomas. After all these years too...
11. Fond memories of Heather Locklear in 'The Fall Guy'... :tt1:
12. Used to have two cats, pure white brothers, had them from new. One lived to 11, the other to 13... great pets, very self sufficient. We got 2 house rabbits now, got them from a rescue centre, already had all the injections, neutered etc... £45 the pair... bargain!
13. I looked into these a while ago, very complex car, have the active yaw control like the evo's. In fact they are almost the same as an evo underneath it all... awesome road holding. As said before... very thirsty, also when the autobox lets go it mega bucks! Reckon he'd be better off with a Subaru Legacy.
14. That is until you see the rear end... http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1736307.htm
15. You'll meet a lot of people like that in the used car scene i'm afraid. Whats acceptable to him is obviously not acceptable to you, or many other 'punters'. He should've come clean about the scratches on the phone, maybe they'd have buffed out? What makes me laugh is the ads you see stating 'no timewasters', when in reality it's the people selling the car that are the timewasters. My Mrs has a v-reg Polo 1.4cl, only got 36k on the clock! It's absolutely mint condition (she aint sellin' it!), but it is awful to drive, like an old barge, wallows all over the road. Handles like a school bus. Good luck with your search, you'll find the right one eventually.
16. What he said..:thumbup1: Put them on a 'wool' wash, one at a time, will be fine.
17. Snowy Green at your service...:thumbup1: Glad the z for sale has leather, nice wipe clean surface.. :hurl::blink:
18. I've used those for doing fascia & guttering. A handrail would'nt have been out of place though!
19. To name a few, goin through a bit of a motown/northern soul period.. can you tell.. :cool3:
20. MR2 Turbo....
21. Well done, i'd like to think i'd be as level headed as that in that sort of situation, but i hope that i don't have to find out. Did anyone find out why matey wasn't watching his bonfire?
22. Sure was bud, lovely place!
23. Took this on a recent mountainbiking holiday in wales... I stopped and got off the bike to take this pic while all my mates just pedalled off. Was at Coed-Y-Brenin trail centre.
24. Me and my brother many moons ago..... Grown up a bit now.... me and my youngest daughter.
