1. Lol, not seen that before. Paul Whitehouse's finest moment has to be 'The Fast Show' though.
2. Try some of this, should do the trick, can also use it on the rest of the car too... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUTOSMART-TARDIS-TAR-GLUE-REMOVER-500ML-OEM_W0QQitemZ280462436288QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item414cdd27c0
3. I was looking at that earlier, was gonna post it up here but thought i'd get slammed! The rat look is best left to VW's i reckon.
4. I bought one of those professional sets from halfords recently, well impressed, snap-on quality and warranty with a fraction of the price.:thumbup1: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_177693_langId_-1_categoryId_165572cm_cr=No+Campaign-_-Web+Activity-_-07-FEB10-WORKSHOP-M-1-_-PRODCAT_ESPOTMAIN_165532-_-07-FEB10-WORKSHOP-M-1
5. Yeah, think space raiders are 20p now. Can remember when snaps first came out, they were 2p, other crisps were 3p. 20 fags were 80p!
6. I did 8yrs in the double glazing industry, once heard of a well known company having probs with a customer paying up, they called round on the pretence of doing some service work. They then removed all the opening fanlights, put them in the van & drove off. Said customer then got a phone call from the company stating that unless they recieved full payment, the sashes would not be re-fitted, the product remains the property of the supplier until full payment is recieved. Needless to say, payment was promptly recieved! Hate these sort of people, they agree a price, then refuse to pay up when you do the work...:mad2:
7. That looks very clean! I used to have a mk4 supra, very solid cars, handle really well. Mine had had all the rubbery crap removed from the dash. .... The gold badges look really good on white supras too.
8. If the guy selling it only thinks it's worth a grand, and you think it's worth more, then yes it's a bargain! How much does the seller know about Z's? To some people they are just gas guzzling macho man cars, to others they are a classic sportscar, depends how he see's it really. A friend at work has just paid £1500 for a TT auto '91, which is a bargain. The car has had new tubs, fsh (cambelt, oil changes etc) even had the dett sensor done properley, heater matrix, propshaft mount etc etc It's still restricted to 112mph too! I've known the car since it came into the country, i know the first owner, i know the second owner, i recommended it to the 3rd owner too. Who knows i might buy it myself one day! It has a few cosmetic issues, rear spoiler is mullered, one of the targas leaks a bit, thats about it really. IMO as long as the engine/mechanicals are all working fine, it will be a bargain. There are lots of bodyshops who can fix any cosmetics with it, but very few garages that know enough about them to able to diagnose any problems and competantly fix them.
9. Wrong... i rode a timed competition, if you could beat his lap time, you won a brand new BMX, i had 5 goes, managed to get the same time as him. Just couldn't beat it, was at Earls Court motorbike show iirc.
10. Evo-3 Bigmincey-2 1. I once appeared alongside Ronnie Corbet in 'Sorry' 2. At a BMX challenge in the 80's, i posted the same laptime as BMX legend Andy Ruffel. 3. I once cycled from landsend to john o groats.
11. Yeah, it's really annoying, you either want to sell or you don't. The other one's that get me are, when you see a car parked at the side of the road with a4 sheet in the window, declaring fsh, mot etc.... but no ******* price!, some don't even have a number, just 'apply within', apply within where? The car is on a grass verge at the side of the road! These ones are usually in a hard to 'quickly park up and have a look' place, so they should have a price in BIG numbers on the screen to catch your attention as you drive by and not waste your time having to do a 968 point turn in someones driveway to go back for a look. Also the adds with 'POA' (price on application) after them, wtf is that all about! Do i have to apply to buy your car? Do you actually know how much you want for it, or are you just going to make up a price depending on what time of day it is when i ring you?
12. Nah, it's been lashing down all day here  Would be good to have snow again
13. Words fail me.....
14. Left school in '86, bummed around doing packing jobs etc for a year or so, having a laugh with my mates, then got a job as an apprentice chippie, went to college, stayed with that company for 13yrs, left and went self employed as a window fitter, subbed off the same company for 8yrs, now i've gone back to the first company as a surveyor.
15. Mine was blue too, a h-reg. The wheel arches fell apart. Had a good engine though, done 140k and still going strong.
16. Thats the earlier model, mine was a 1984 B-reg, was a hatchback, really wanted the saloon, but they were very rare. I'm gonna upset you now and tell you i also had a 16v Calibra too.:whistling: But it fell to bits!
17. I had a Manta GT/E too, probably my favourite of all the cars i've owned.
18. It was a hatchback in white/anthracite, same colouring as your pic. Had 130 in red on the doors. Was quick as fook!
19. I had a cav sri 130:tt2: Always wanted one of these though... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1992-RENAULT-21-TURBO-RED_W0QQitemZ250580573539QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item3a57c41d63 Can't be many left though...
20. A mate had a 16v astra years ago, very quick car, crap handling though. Can't speak for the primera, never been in one. A good astra will set you back a few quid now, quite sought after.

22. Lets hope the guards/doctors treating him took their time getting to him, perhaps finishing their teabreak first.
23. That is gonna be an awesome place!! How long will the build take, and what does it cost to build a place like that over there?
24. Bit of oldskool raving! Quality tune...
