  1. This is whats been done to your z marcus, albeit permanantly. The mot tester is a twat by the sounds of things! There is an orange switch under the steering column to operate the rear fog mate. You got pm mate...:)
  2. lol! Seriously though mate, thats a shit load of crap to eat in one hit!
  3. Lol, i messed that one up, see the post below!
  4. Theres a guy who works near me has got one, he says he's had it 3yrs, never seen another one on the road in all that time! Apparantly the gearboxes are made of cheese! Nice car...
  5. I know exactly where you're coming from stella..... I worked for my local council for 13yrs, have seen some truly horrendous sites! There was a single guy, mid 30's, lived alone, used to shit on the floor of his flat. When he was in bed he'd simply stick his arse out the duvet and crap on the floor and leave it there. You can imagine what the rest of the property was like! Another one that springs to mind is a little old lady, mid 80's. Her toilet blocked up some 5yrs previous, instead of reporting it to the council, she started crapping into bits of toilet roll and stashing it behind the lounge door, anyways, she eventually did a moonlight flit (yep mid 80's!), i kid you not, the pile of shit behind her door was about a foot deep, 3ft long by about 5ft high, you've never seen anything like it. How the hell these people live like this is beyond me. Then there was a guy who lived in a 3 story house, the ground floor was a garage and an entrance hall, with a kitchen above the garage, he actually cut a hole in the kitchen floor and dangled a rope ladder into the garage so that the kids could go out to play without him having to get up to let them back in again!! He also knocked down a load bearing wall and left the radiator propped up against a chair in the middle of his new 'room' because he couldn't be arse to reposition it elsewhere!
  6. Here's the lexus black cherry pearl...
  7. Have seen an mr2 done up in 'lexus black cherry pearl', that looked very nice. Or i've seen a few mgf's about in a stunning yellow with a gold flip to it, also seen a very similar colour on a clio too.
  8. LMAO @ the potnoodle one!
  9. Spotted a black z, reg C10 B** in the village of Kintbury nr Newbury. Was at the village hall, just finished a mountainbike race, popped out for a fag, and you bimbled past, anyone....?
  10. Chin up bud, it does get better in time. To cut a long story short, my mrs went to the shop and never came back! (in '96) Left me with little'un, took the car, cashcard etc.... Was like something from news of the world, you couldn't make it up! She's now an alcoholic, drug user etc.... Little'un (now 18), hasn't spoke to her for over a year, never seen her grandaughter either. What comes around, goes around.
  11. Happy birthday you two. :duffer:
  12. I've had my mr2 turbo (rev2) for nearly 3yrs, hasn't missed a beat. Probably the most reliable car i've had. As for performance against a tt auto z, it will beat a z upto about 80mph reasonably easy (it is modded though!), then it will give it a good run upto 100+, then the z will leave it for dust. The book speed for an mr2 tubby is 149mph, although anything over 120'ish is frightening to say the least.
  13. Those headlights are awful, looks better with the standard lights. Other than that, it looks good, especially the wide arch rear view.
  14. Wishing you a speedy recovery, little man!
  15. Brilliant film! ''Leave the kid alone'' ;) The Warriors was better though!
  16. See you there nick, lol @ ya avatar.. :D *edit* Just read your post properley, apparantly i won't be seeing you there then!
  17. More than likely a n/a manual, possibly a swb. Would settle for the extra reliability over the extra power of the turbos.
  18. Have a good one mate.
  19. Hhmm, echoeing my thoughts mate, been 3 yrs or so since i sold mine. Have been down the supra route and the mr2 route (still got), feeling the need for another z in my life. It's an illness tbh, there should be tablets available to combat z ownership!
  20. Remove the headlamp covers, rear spoiler and fit some 99 spec rear lights and that would look very nice indeed. All IMO of course. ;)
  21. Just seen this thread, so sorry to hear this. Really does put things into perspective when something like this happens. All the fast cars, bikes etc are just irrelevant. I have 2 daughters and a granddaughter, and i can't even begin to realise what you are going through, i really really really hope your little man makes a full recovery and can full and normal life.
  22. I s'pose if someone scratched it, you could just pop down b&q and get some wood filler, then sand it out? Reckon it would look better creosoted (sp?) myself! :)
  23. Blimey, that'd eat you alive! Sadly been proven to be a photoshop though.. :(
  24. Watched The Warriors last night, anyone remember that? Superb film! Also on my list would be... House of 1000 corpses Devils Rejects The Wanderers Bad Taste Any of the Friday 13th or Halloween series (got them all!) Romper Stomper Quadrophenia The list goes on & on.....
  25. You could try Brad at Motovation, he's at East Hanney, between Wantage & Marcham. He looked after my z and also looked after my Supra & my mr2. He does a good job, and his rates are reasonable too (compared to a main dealer!).
