Right. I have now got a pair or 3"dps and 3" testpipes.now need to mate up the two 3"testpipes to a single 3" exit.is this jobie a fabrication part.or by any chance that somone somwere sells such a peace.see pic. .

Going over to a fmic. I dont supose there are any negative issues with using 3" pipe as much were you can. Is there. Apart from space and tihht for room. Surely bigger and shorter the pipe the better.? Yes i know its gojng to be a pain but. Hey do is doing anything.u just get on and do it .right.

I know straght away so many members of the forume are going to say no and they prefer a larger smic. But the fact remains. There must be a good reason do many race and tracked cars have large fms.im sure somone will be along soon .but i personally think its a personal choice.and that said if you want to keep tha standerd look then a fm would look a bit odd.but im also oponing up my front with a p spec twin z jobby and need to fill that large void with beautiful cooling air.

Yes ive known mark just shy of twenty years. We use to go all tound the country at weekends away at custom car shoes ect. And then weekends off roading in our discos. But i also like to do stuff for myself aswell.and although his a mate.his still hot to make a living.and his quality of his workman ship dosnt come cheap.that said ive aslo owned a carbody repair shop and can weld a sill on but fully admit never attemted that sort of weilding i just because your getting to personel and dont know why or what your durgesting have owned and built from scratch my own wholesale food business as well. Yes i did say that marks doing the work. Ie putting tubs in cam belt.sppedo. bearings and sheels. But i have a class tig wielder mate in norwich called Mark stacey who own power and performence exhaust.just trying to get all the bits and up and running.then i suspect over to horning later to get all weilded up full custom built. Im going to sound thic again but on the journey to exactly understand what is ment so be it. Noel so u used 2.5"ali tubing and strecthed over the 2.5" tube used 2.5" silicon joiners and this was also acheaved buy turning the fmic around.? Im thinking that 2.5 inch pipe work is better for the front mount im wanting. The inlets and outlets are 2.5" but the pipework reduces straght down two 2" with reduces with all kits on the market. So im thinking ill buy the intercooler on its own then buy some pipe work to fit. My question is should i buy three inch pipe with 3" to 2.5" couplers or what best size to get.or can i get 2.5" pipe and what size joiners will fit suggly over both pipes without air leaks.

Time was ticking and mot due in march.and im away gor most of it. So coulnt wait any longer. Right got my pipes comming and yes tonight ive just ordered a pair of GSP600s. Should get my reliable plus 500 i wanted with those and other mods comming.

Noel theres hundreds.if them.are you saying when tubs are off the car i can just put mesured air pressure in them to see when the acuator arm moves. And when it dose then that the pressure yhere set at. And also if you needed to change them you can just wind the bolt in or out to the desired pressure and tihjten thd lock bolt. Cool. And whilst im here why do some waste gates have daul ports on them.please.

How can you test once you have bouht a pair of new turbos, that yhe actuators are set to the correct pound per square inch.psi. The reason fir me asking is i read an artical not so long ago, and they found on fitting checking new turbos prior to fitting. One was set at 5psi And the other one was at 9 psi. Need to check before install me thinks. And anyone who wants to come back with the reply. Dont buy cheap shiet. These write up was accross the board.
