Yep I completely agree with you there it looked deliberate to me. If he's hit that post it would have been curtains. Have also to say being a biker myself that he was way too close the the arse of that car and I was expecting the car to hit something and the bike to flip over the top when the vid first started. If you have so much more power to weight you don't need to be in someones boot to overtake. That is spot on on a track, but only because most of the other machines are of similar power and people are expecting the guy behind to make a move.

Good on ya As soon as you start to put extra power through your engine you'll place the big ends and small ends under more stress than they are used to. + The mileage already clocked up its always wizest to have your crank polished and balanced so i think it's wize to get it all fettled. New valve springs and guides is a good ideal too, because once its in bits it just and extra £1200 ish of bits for piece of mind. Once its run in properley you know you should have a least 50K miles without problems other than getting traction :rofl: :rofl:

Before you look at performance get some better brakes. Look on the Skyline forums for a set of R33 or R34 GTR brakes The GTS and even the R32 GTR brakes are the same as the Zed. £800 to £3500 if you go for a new setup Fordged Rebuild kit Fordge Wesco pistons, Eagle rods, Torgs bearing (big and small end), Head studs, oil pump, water pump, Cam belt new cam pullies and complete Gasket kit. I know Smithy is doing some kits don't know prices If you get it from the states it'll proberbly cosy you about £1800 including duty if you get them to mark the value down, but you risk loosing out on insurance if it goes astray. If you insist on UPS they are the best and i don't know anyone who have had anything go missing with UPS. look at http://www.AMZperformance.com http://www.Z1motorsport.com injectors about £500 Turbos can cost anything from £1000 for a phase 1 hybrid (generally poor quality) to £3000 Turbo Dynamics who smithy used to used are about the best in UK for Hybrid and upgrades. Then you have option from the states. One thing to remember though is if you have problems with Turbos from the US you have to ship them back to the US and shipping could be real costly. Lightened Flywheel about £400 Uprated clutch £400 My advice is to stay clear of pule clutches unless your just racing the car. If you do a lot of town driving it won't last and they are awefull for daily use. SMIC £600 to £900 depending where you get them Look at the states maybe worth a look. Remember quality is more important than Bling. FMIC is proberbly OTT and ££££££ Look for second hand Proper Rad of high flow rate £250 to £400 maybe look for a second hand Good uprated oil cooler couplings etc £200 to £250 Then you'll need a good engineer. I assure you your rebuild will be no good if the machining work is crap. + a good mechanic if your not doing the work yourself. £2000 So £7000 isn't going to go far. Take a chill pill buddy. If you didn't have a persecution complex you'd see most of what has been said is banter. Because most people are sick of the over zelus manner that the Police are acting as Tax collectors. That people are sick of the Police telling us all that the equipment they are using is infallable and that it is being used as prescribed by the manufacturers (which it isn't). That these machines according to the statements published by the Police regarding the accuracy and abilities of this equipment defy the laws of Physics. Perhaps in your neck of the woods the CPS have independance to actually look at evidence and statements and then decide what shall or shall not go to court, but in my experience it is most often the police who decide to prosecute and they are represented in Courts buy CPS Solicitors are they not. I also assure you here in the domain of the Mad Mulla of the traffic Talliban the CPS and the Police work as one. When Officers make ridiculous statements that just a moments thought or checking of witness statements would prevent wasting the courts time and money. Or the trauma many thousands of normal law abiding people feel when they find them selves unjustly in court or in court for situations where a caution would better serve the public good. I've been in court and watched the CPS solicitors confering with Police officers about a witness or plaintiff statement during their cross examination of the witness and the Magistrates allow it to go on. However most people fear retribution, hassel etc. The letters that are sent out proclaiming that should the matter go to court it will cost you a minimum of £1000 should you lose is a total misrepresentation of the law and utterly untrue. This is the thing that frightens most people away from making a stand for their legal rights. They fear the financial ramerfications should they lose and just pay up. Infact most magistrate court sentences that are appealed are thrown out due to irregularity, or misrepresentation or most common failure to furnish the Plaintiffs with all the facts that the prosecuton rely upon at the magistrates court and usually get binned without going to court. We the great unwashes who you lot are supposed to be protecting and preventing serious crime seem to be fixated with squeezing easy money out of motorist. Leaving the likes of my mother in a serious state because she was allegedly cought doing 34 mph in a 30 zone. Even though she was sure she hadn't and more than likely had not been speeding paid £60 and got her first ever points because she was affraid she get done a £1000 if she faut it. I have to agree with Rosco Migel at http://www.neweraimports.com is a top bloke. Knows his stuff and will make life very easy for you. He only deals in quality motors which is more than can be said for most. I imported a Celica Gen7 TRD type S. I used Ben Linney but he no longer imports cars anymore. Good importers will find out what you really want and then the they'll flag up anytime there is anything close to what you want coming up for sale. They'll send you a full Jap aution spec and grading. Which is very detailed + they send pictures. you then decide your going for it and place your deposit. Then wait. They SVA it and get anything done that needs doing for UK MOT. If your looking for a car less than 10 years old it will fall under the new regs. This means it will have to be completely standard to get a SVA. older than 10 years and Mods are not a problem.

Si My Laguna was as reliable as a Swiss Watch band I still see it around 2 years on so I don't thick you need worry. I do 74 miles a day to work and back + any customer visits etc and I just found it utterly unengaging. It never let me down or did anything of note other than get out of shape in the wet even with good rubber, but it was Like watching paint dry.
