  1. 225/45 is OK, but 235's and 245's must be on 40 wall size or your increasing the rolling radius and this will effect your steering geometry. Also 245/40's do start to pull the steering around abit with the old tramlining.
  2. You never sent me chapter one.
  3. That proberbly why I was convinced they were all NA only. I have seen them advertised as Aero top Turbo Manual convertion. :headvswal I know from researching my wifes TRD that most Jspec Toyota performance cars have a vast list of factory options and many leave the factory quite unique. I still think they are an ugly car, but they are dam well made.
  4. It isn't legal as there is a specifide plate size, but most MOT stations just overlook it, but the Zelous copper won't
  5. Well because of the Hassel I had with the sighting of my numberplate I did an aweful lot of reseach on numberplates. I have now a laminated card in my glove box that i just hand the copper anytime I get pulled for it. Mine being UK spec has to have full UK sizes, However the legal requirement for import car is that the number plates must be at least the size of counrty of origin, but only becuase some cars are designed to accept that size and would require modification for larger plates. Jspec numberplates are 300mm X 150mm and lettering must be 60mm high and i can't remember the width etc. but Jspec sizes are legal. PS the Red TRD on my sig pic has Jspec number plates
  6. Hey the saggetti under your dash makes even mine look tidy. However this is a chance to used that cheep 200 pack of cable ties
  7. Its a doddle really. Just takes a full day. Nothing technical or hard, but I do think removing the full dash allows you full acces to everything and makes getting the bulkhead pipe gromet over the pipes a lot less hassle. Finally it allows you to do the job without being Oregami upside down with one foot out the Targa and the other on the back seat. Honest it looks worse than it is
  8. I used the link Payment To 300ZX.CO.UK 12 Mar. 2007 Completed Details -£15.00 GBP £0.00 GBP Me and Technology don't always mix.

  10. Being dyslexsic when i first read this thread I thought it said hiding inteligence and was totally flumaxed by the subject mater. I'm not blond honest. But the way to avoid inheritence Tax is to get your Folks to give you their home now and sign an agreement that they can live their as long as they wish.
  11. Very nice, but not touristy. Nice for quiet chilled break.

I'm dyslexic and crap at typing. so when I type some thing thats incorrect I could read it all fay long and not spot it. Infact when I read out loud I add stuff that just isn't their. I could read a passage thet says " He fell into the Dyke and hit his head." I would most likely read. " He slipped and fell into the dyke cutting and brusing his hands and head." It was explain to me that I see the start of the text as a kind of promt and away the brain goes. I do the same when writing if not concentrating or the simplest of word iwill have a complete mind block. However having always been like this I'm used to clever xock ducking basturd smart arzes have a pop at me.
  14. I know they use a Capri 2.8i engine gearbox and moded floor pan in Moggy 1000. They don't half go then.
  15. It is a poor picture, but it does look like a box standard original.
  16. I read or heard "Fook I could have dreamed it" that rhe reason it was NA only was because the higher HP twisted to Aero top monocock and effectively wrote it off first bootful out of a bend. The same thing happened to the original Rover TomCat's. They were going to be 260BHP not 220BHP, but they power twisted the chassis.
  17. that I have to say is true.
  18. I looked at getting linney.org to import one for me and I was told that it was NA only unless you got a aftermaket single turbo convertion.
  19. MMMMMMMM beautafull. Nor**** n good.
  20. Danny at DTA or John Dixon.
  21. Happy birthday and ensure you keep the car.
  22. Many happy returns Mr
  23. You say your car is new as in new to you. Is it a recent import? If so you may find its your tyres. Most cars coming from Japan have sat for anything up to 6 months on the docks in the heat waiting for shipping. The tyres become flattend and out of shape and cause the symtoms you describe. When I imported my TRD there was a strike (the first ever) The car was at the docks for 3 months. When i got the car I thought the wheel bearings were knackered. but all was well. The car was only 15 month old so was all under warrenty with Toyota. They changed all sorts and still the same. Then a guy I know who had imported a newish car himself told me to try the tyres. Even if the car as been of the road in the UK this can happen. Unfortunately they will not round of with driving and would need replacing. Give em a visual check and feel round them. Drop a wheel off at a time and roll it on a smooth surface and youe see. it cost nothing to check. tension rods being changed isn't a bad Idea anyway on a car of this age. You can get ajustable rods with rose joint for under £80 these days.
  24. Yep all old drop fordge technology and mass produced. Were talking about modern replacement turbos for performance cars. Quite a lot different.
  25. Once you got the TT injectors in you'll nees it mapping for them. with the correct mapping and induction, Exhaust, cams and headers you could see significant power gains.
