  1. Thats what happens when blokes with no Idea, loads of timber left over from the kitchen extension and some carpentry tools are banished to the Garage.
  2. I had this problem on the passenger side. A once upon a time trader here re routed my boost controler through the whole were the drain cock for the targas come out of the wing (about 4" infront of and 4" lower than the top door hindge). Problem is that drain cock is a rubber tube with a 90 degree L bow on the other end which the drain pipe from the targa fits into. Buy pushing and pulling at the rubber drain cock the pipe from targa will come out and drip drip drip onto you electrics. Its a B to get to but needs pushing back in. You'll have to remove the kick pannel the pannel under the steering wheel and a load of block conectors that fasten to the inner wing buy the bulkhead. I find reclining the drivers seat then sitting in it upside down the most comfortable way to prob around up there.
  3. Red hamme, but are you only just realising the people on this forum are really wierd Some of them ask the strangest questions and set bloody daft tests
  4. My wife never cleans the shower, nor does my daughter.
  5. Demon Tweeks Fiberglass Arches Part No's (ESC1001) to (ESC1004) Then (ESC2001) to (ESC2012) and (SUN0004) to (SUN0006) They cost from £92 to £130 for all four depending on which once you choose. The Rally shops will have many more.
  6. Yep agree and Porterfields just as bad IMO. So too are the srandard Brembo pads for the R33's.
  7. Red stuff and Portefield are pants. Ferodo DS 2500 or Mintex 1155 are best for every day fast road use and DS 3000 for track days. I've just bought a set of 2500's and they ordered the 3000's because I had them last time. They are a brilliant pad, but need a bit of heating up. However because they have them in I'll see if you could have em cheep.
  8. I'm after the little interface gizzmo that piggy backs the standard Racelogic and gives you more options and control.
  9. Would have gone for the EVOX 3 piece myself 19"s from 8J to 13J and lightwheight PWS offered me 8.5 J 19" front and 12 J 19" rears with Perrelli Rosso tyres for £2300. With chrome rims
  10. I have their cataloge in my office so I'll get you the ref. No's tomorrow. They have quite a good selection.
  11. No but at the price it will always attract admirers.
  12. Deemon tweeks sell some very similar for MKII Escorts and Sunbeam Talbotts.
  13. I'd be interested in the shroud too.
  14. It wasn't me unfortunately, but I would.
  15. I think if you check out some of the classic rally car sites you'll find the same thing much cheeper and closer to home. Not the kind of thing I'd go for, but each to there own.
  16. One thing Pristine have in there favour is they have a collection and return service through Dealer networks. ie They may havbe someone up your neck of the woods. If you do use Pristine then hears a bit of Advice. Speak to Pristine first and tell them exactly what you want and what damage needs reparing and get a price from them. Then go to the dealer and when they quote you the price +there large cur you can say sorry I spoke to Pristine and they Quoted me the figure they did. That would have been without ship and return, but keep haggling and you'll get loads knocked off. Good luck
  17. Having reread it your proberbly right :headvswal
  18. Had those done at Pristine and they charged £320 for all 4 including repairs to 3 wheels, but these are just 2 piece. However I think the guy that did Funki Si's wheels did a better job than Pristine.
  19. John Dixon has a Quaife diff I think. It click clacks for Britain., but he may have some good feed back for you. I've been looking at the OS Giken set ups.
  20. I believe the OS Giken diff sets come in 3 different ratio's Quaife will build you what ever you want.
  21. They hold water and can leak where the glass meets the new lake. unless you have a genuine Strosek as they use the top of the boot as a spoiler and the new boot lid goes right inderneath.
  22. A good wheel refurber will be able to fix anything so long as it isn't structurely dangerous. Pristine repared this one and it had a big chunk missing
  23. Thanks Andy. How long do you recon it'll take, Bare in mind it I haven't done it before and first time I did a heater matrix it took me 12 hours.
  24. Hi is there an easy way of changing the heater fan without pulling the dash out? Had her off the road for winter and low and behold I fire her up and the heater fan is making a right din. sounds like a dry bearing.
