  1. I know where your coming from. I bought my missus a proper Celica TRD with the full TRD race setup and it is god dam uncomfortable as a every day motor. Infact she's started knicking my C70 T5 more and more. As Paul says, or Eibach and Koni Street Racer, or Spanx do a fast road coilover setup. If you can aford though I'd say The Tein setup that you can ajust in car £1300 though, but you can ajust to softer than standard right through to real hard for track days.
  2. Its not fair. :smash: In Japan and the states they can get hold of any wheels and body kits good or bad, at realistic prices. So they just stick as much tat as they can on any thing. What really gets me though is that 50% of thoughs ugly beasts have wheels on them that most here would die for.
  3. I have had both (at defferent times :headvswal ) and in my opinion they both have merits and it really depends on several things as to which is best for you. The first is your driving style. ie If you love to burn people of at the lights, want to drag race and generally just nail it on the strait stuff then I'd say Auto is the way to go, because the auto will lay the power down much more evenly and progressive. This will poduce far less wheel spin so for standing starts it edges the manual. If like me though you love to race motorbikes and the likes on the twistys, do track days and generally like to progress down those long lonely A and B roads on the very ragged edge. Then the manual rains King because there is no lag on exiting the corners, the drive is more positive and you have more control to power slide. Also the rolling roll on power edges the auto. Basically your in total control, but as a result you can do more damage mechanically and to your ego if you get it wrong. ;)
  4. Hi Shep what wheels are they on your mota. (I'm assuming that the pic you posted is your car.)
  5. Looking nice Dave. Just take care or you'll slip down that slippery slope to. " Oh my god have I really spent that much?" I know I did and now I'm at "Well I might as well do it as I really want it, So stop crying and get on with it." I recon it my be finished by the summer of 2006, but I'll use her this summer as she is.
  6. That just cruel :D Hope you've got big speakers at work

  13. Mate I only ever speek from experience and if I don't know something I say so. It therefore follows that in mine and also many other people experience what I said is true about the Pulsars, but before you answer just think, because if you come back and say a standard Z. Be it TT long or short wheelbase. Can wip a sorted Pulsars arse up to 60 mph you will comfirm a veiw I have already taken about your ability to digest what is written and speek BS. Who TF mentioned Skyliners, TVR's etc. The question was where can I get a Pulsar info for friend.
  14. Chris at GetGReedy sells new ones For buttons mate

  16. I was thinking of a last minute ski holiday, but it aint cheep with 2 teenagers a 7yr old non stop talking boffin and she who thinks she should be obayed. So I might have to go on my own   do ya think the grief would be worth it.
  17. Try dpmotorsport 01925 445446 they usually have 1 or 2 for sale + they'll know if any customers are selling, because it will be a lot cheeper to buy a sorted one in the first place. Then get ready to get your asse wipped. Even it you had a TT you wouldn't live with one of these little head banging machines up to 60-70ish and a sorted one will leave a standard TT for dead full stop.
  18. Glad to here your rock and rolling again Paul. Hope to be rolloing again myself soon. Then when its run in I want JD to work his Magic.
  19. I understand how you feel. We used to have Great Danes. A dog and a bitch. The bitch was poisoned when she was just 4 yrs old. That was heart breaking (we never found out how or when only that it was rat poison) Anyway the dog was lost without the bitch i think he was as heart broken as the rest of the family. We'd told the breaders what had happened but weren't expecting what happened next. They just turned up out of the blue with a young bitch they'd rescued. Though we've never forgoton Zoochy to this day it did feel more like normal again. + The dog got a new lease of life and went on to live till he was 14yrs old, which is almost unheard of with Danes. In Fact he out lived Jema the first recue bitch and Betzy the second Rescued bitch. They do get under your skin and become part of the family. Having had 4 beautiful dogs as pets and part of the family. I fully understand how you must be feeling and empathise with you.
