Little bast*rds like this should be put into pennal regements and sent to the world trouble spots to help clean up, should be sterilised and only allowed back into society when they have served humanity for a minimun of 10years. Or put in the stocks for a week, totally unprotected by the law they live out side of. If they get kicked to death then tuff sh1t. 5.5 ltr small block Ford V8 which is a lot smaller than the z's standard V6. With fords twin turbo kit on ford have run this engine in endurance races at 900 bhp. 650bhp in the GT40. There is a small block 6.5 ltr v8 chevy lump I beleive that runs a Supercarger at around 700bhp ish. A lot cheeper than upgrading the existing lump and turbos and much more reliable.

What another pi55ing contest? Standard Z are quick in a straight line, but there are plenty of quicker cars out there. + Most of the fast new iron handles better than standard Z's. I agree with above + I think the boxter is one sweet handling motor, but you can get the Z to handle almost as good. Most importantly though it comes down to driver ability in most cases and I'd love to organise a proper outdoor Karting day, with proper 400cc karts on a good track and see how good some people here really are at driving. Anyone up for it?

Sorry I didn't see the top arms. Yep they'll sort the front out so what have you got on the rear?, as standard camber ajustment aint up to much. I used a whiteline rear camber kit and it still didn't have enough ajustment so I'm going for the proper jobs that GetGReedy is flogging. Same as the SPL jobs but cheeper.

Ya going to need front and rear camber kits now or your tyres will not last 3,000 miles, but a nice start though.

Sorry to hear about this Rich. Unfortunatly I feel that even if you had a receipt for the clutch, which I doubt you have. Then the company would most likely just declare that the fault is all down to incorrect fitting. So the fact that GPS has gone I'm afraid leaves you with no come back. A concern that I have as well, and think he should have been insured for such an event. (ie proffesionaly indemnity ) If so, even if he's gone bump, any work done durring that period should be covered for . I'd also speak to the Office of fair Trading as there maybe a government fund for these kind of circumstances, as there is with regard to being a victim of a none insured driver.

I would have plonked my engine gearbox and suspension bits and bobs on though having spent £15,000 + on em. Oh and my grovey new front end. That way I'd have two cool blue Z's for roughly what its going to cost me to do my interior and Evolution wide arch kit. + another full respray (same colour)

There used to be a full Brochure for the 300zx on Z32.com and it gave the 0-60 times for Jap & UK models just as you got them Pete. + it proclaimed the Manual produced 288bhp and the Auto 282bhp. While the 0-60 times for US spec was 5.6 and 5.5 respectively and power at 309bhp for manual and 302bhp for auto. Having said all of this, Z32.com is a US/Jap site. There was a full 99spec Brochure too and that gave the same 288bhp and 282 bhp figures. Then again I may have drempt it :confused:

I still think the three round light like I have on mine are better ballanced though i prefer the Ferrari style lenses on the one your thinking of. However you'll need 4 of the ones with the clears centres so you can have reverse + indicators
