  1. I think 1996 is when they changed the law to stop Estate agents telling porky's. Thus rounding HP in mags also became a no no. The other reason I think what I read is true is because Toyota Had three prodution lines for the Supra. so the none domestic Supras where all 325 BHP which ment that they had more ponys than the US spec Z. + (and this is just another stone in the pond of controversy, but I'm sure someone will rise to the bait) The Arab countries (most drive on the left) would not get an inferior car to the great Satan. Oh yes mate the auto has 3mm smaller Turbos and different cam profiles so as to have more mid range grunt than the manual, to compensate for the difference in power transmition of the boxes. Same peak power and if both cars were unrestricted the auto had a higher top speed.
  2. I thought that the U.S. was a straight 300bhp until I saw the specs differences posted up on TTnet. The Jap and Uk are Identical BHP, so too where all the ones sold in Aus, Newzeland, infact anywhere they have right hand drive. + I believe that the cars sold in Germany + the odd dozen or so sold through rest of Europe, ie left hand drive where as US spec. Infact as with nearly all jap models sold in Uk. Any differences between UK and Jap models are changed in UK buy official distributers. ie Such as Nissan or Toyota UK. Now if someone is to prove that i'm talking *****cks as regard the 312bhp figure then I can only tell you thats what I read, but it would make sense and they would just have a L/H and R/H drive assembley lines and pissing about with a R/H loom to accommodate slightly different management would have been a nightmare.
  3. MMM 99spec front bumper, Zcentre rear spoiler and a short wheel base in gun metal. I'm sure I know that car. you cannot phone that number as it is a fax.
  4. You always have to spoil the illusion  Anyway if we all took our cars to Prague (is that how you spell it) you could get a Petra each for £14 per night and day and she'd do more than just sit in or on ya car :o :x: :D
  5. Hey this'll be the first time I've ever paid for a woman :D
  6. Go on then I'm up for it. EEErrrm do we get to rub the bronzing oil in :o :ttiwwop:
  7. We know the SAS have been there for years, but things are getting hotter in the Suni areas and the PM is getting a lot of presure from Bush to help cool the heat off for the Yanks. OK i'm an old git and still talk the lingo of my time. ie a patrol of 4 special forces was known as a brick. + if they no longer fly into ops situations in 2 "patrols" ( not that this was/is a fixed concept just that it did used to happen dependant on the mission objectives, or that they were to opperate from a new HQ) then that is a recent (as in last 10 years) change to things. Still strange don't ya think + the first confirmed Dead is an Australian.
  8. Z not even worth asking the question.
  9. Thats only 8 SAS and I know that they often fly out on opps in 2 groups of 4 which correct me if I'm wrong is 2 bricks.
  10. £850 fully comp, for a 1994 uk spec with all mods declared (thats 20K ish) and 1 blame wothy accident because a nob in a stollen car parked on my bonnett and funked off. (that really gauls me) + thats unlimited milage, parked in a private courtyard, live in the sticks, cat one imobelizer and clean licence with Ziruch. Houghtons wanted £1400
  11. Andy certaily seems to know what he's talking about, however I've only had parts of him myself.
  12. Chunk At 44 I'm old enough to spot the difference between age and daily pie intake. Why carn't you  :slap:  Yep 44 and still a babe magnet
  13. Hey i'd agree with you on the V8 transplant, but the right V8. How ever I did own a R33 Vspec for a very short while and its not that I didn't like it. (I most certainly did) Its just I do drive to the edge of my abillity in any car I get in and I found that my corner entrance and exit speeds in the Vspec just kept going up and up. I realised that to have the same amount of smile factor in the Skyline meant speeds of no return if I miss judged it. Maybe it cos i'm getting older, but fortunatly I'd had not takers on the Z and once I decided the skyline was not for me I felt a lot happier with the Z. OK I might be stange, but I won't have a all out sports bike anymore and am going to by a Buel 750 instead of a new Blade.
  14. There seems to be a lot of rumour that this thing was carrying 2 bricks of fluent Arab speaking SAS to infiltrate the insurgents in the Suni triangle. If so and it was shot down. How are are these so called "fudimental Rag Heads" getting this kind of intel and why carn't we cut of their supply of intel and amo.
  15. Neil AndyZ is proberbly nearest to you and has a good mechanic familiar with Z's. Hope thats not just put the kiss of Death on ya motor.

  18. Seeing your birthdate really cheered me up. Mind you you know what they say. "Its all in the mind" Well, only if the crotch no longer works
  19. Since complete rebuilt I suppose I've done about 25 miles so the 132000 is a bit daft really because I've changed all the running gear, suspension and brakes at the same time as the Engine. :D :D
  20. 132000 and better than ever (I hope so after what I've done to it)
