lightened flywheel
IMO these are 2 really good mods, because they liberate a little more power to the wheels and help the engine to be more responsive. One word of causion though. If your going for and ally fly wheel such as a Fidenza the I think you should stay away from the puck/ paddle clutches as they are unpleasant to use and eat flywheels. Other than that go for it and enjoy. Believe it of not sometimes I miss the auto box and if I were to do it all again I think I'd go for a strengthend auto box and a stick shift at will. that way you have the best of both worlds. Stick it in auto round town and use it as a manual on the open road.

lightwieght/unorthodox pullies
The main pully wheel alone weighs 13 pounds and the main Unortherdox pully weighs 2 pounds, but the full set off original pullys weighs just over 13 kg and if you change the lot and replace with genuine Unortherdox you'll save almost 13 kg as the complete Unortherdox set weighs about 5 pound in total. I personally wouldn't go for the cheepo copies on Ebay as the arn't properly balaned and vibrate. This damages your Crank oil seals fooks cam belts and will over time do more serious damage. The genuine Unortherdox are top quality kit and so well balanced that there is no vibration at all. You will need to ajust your iddle speed, but thats it.

lightwieght/unorthodox pullies
Hey I got rid of it and then last year on the 12 days it was working and smoking like a bast*rd it was hot like its been all summer and I thought thats going back on and so it has. As you get older you like a bit of comfort. this is my every day steed. I've decided that I'm going to get a Westfield XTR2 kit and do the twin Hyabusa V8 tubo job. for track days and burning off lardy Zeds    450 BHP with a curb weight of 600 kg

lightwieght/unorthodox pullies
The unortherdox ones Smithy sells are the best you can buy. The make is called Unortherdox they are about 11kilograms lighter than the standard pully wheels. OH yes and they look well bling

lightwieght/unorthodox pullies
The difference is about 11k and yes they make your engine rev alittle quicker because its not hauling that large weight around on the end of the crank

Tip for people with Z1/SPL rear camber arms
If you've got them you'll know that you cannot get hold of a grease gun adapter to fit the nipples. Paul C told me how he did his, but I couldn't get the thing to work. The only thing I greased was me. When I suddenly thought. I knew i had a couple of vacuum house push fit connectors and thought they resembled the shape of a grease nipple. My Idea was to put it into the hose and then into the gun. Then I realised that the internal diameter of the 3mm connector was about the same size as the grease nipple and hey presto. So if you have these and they are creeking just get a 3mm straight Nylon vacuum hose connector stick one end into the grease gun like you would a grease nipple and the other end over the small nipple and hey presto.

Anyone greese gun for small nipples for the Z1/SPL ajustable rear camber arms?
Just to let you know I found an easier way to grease em. I got a nylon 3mm push fit vacuu hose connector and it pushed into the end of the grease gun and then the other end fits perfectly on the nipple. Greased

how reliable are these cars?
I'm having one made by OMEX. Fully vairiable with full throttle shift and launch control and they are looking at traction control function and auto rev limit on temp, but the temp limiter isn't isn't a definate. They say it will cost about £200 to £250. You can get rev limiters with launch and F/T shift for about £90 Omex, Armtech, Mycro Dynamics and Lumenition all make them and they can be set so that you have to manually overide it everytime you start your car. So if anyone nicks it they can only drive a 2000rpm and will proberbly dump it because it wount go properly.

Mr Toyota obviously thinks differently and with his resorces and know how I'll goo along with his argument. + I'll post up some pics later of what Mr Toyota does to his factory racing spec Celicas. Grounding everything including every coil pack.

Best film ever made?
I much prefere a good story to any visual effects. If it has both then thats good, but the human condition is more of what interests me. I think "Ice Cold in Alex" is one of the best films ever made. Brilliant inter play of charators who all have an individual agenda and forced by the need to survive to have the same agenda. That beer they drink at the end is so good you can taste it. Grounding kits...
No it isn't and is the best way to avoid Heater matrix and steel pipe work corrosion. Due to the fact that the spaggetti of wires that suround the engine + static creat an electric field which tries to dishcharge itself via you cooling system. Also poor earthing will shorten the life and the performance of all your electrics. I still haven't fitted mine but one day I will.

I didn't remove my clutch peddle??? + I've heard of it being done with the top of the dash in place, but having done it myself I'd still go for the removel job as you can get at the heart of it. 3 hours!!! I carn't believe that.

how reliable are these cars?
Get a rev limiter sset it at 2000 rpm and lock it in gluv box. They carn't harm you engine then.
