  1. Ian  Where have you been. Some sun kissed beach with Eggy. Walking hand in hand   I know its not a Pine Martin because one of the only collonies of Pine Martins out side of Scotland is very close to where I live and I've seen one after I hit it with my car. The PDSA and RSPCA bods manager to save the little fellow though. Their heads are more Jackle like and they have huge claws on all four feet.
  2. A none ringed lesser spotted leama, Pine Martin, Plain Scunk thingy Racoon.

I give both her and the car a good workout. 611RWHP on GT28RS like mine. Pritty much same spec as mine, but she got 740 injectors insread of 555's. Can see my next purchace on its way.
  6. Dave I personally have only watched and past tools. The guy that did it used to work for Middlehurst and so he'd done quite a few this way and it took him about 3 1/2 hours to take both of and fit two recons. + The gearbox was off when I arrived and still to go back on when I left, but he did have problems getting the O/S oil feed back on. Having had my engine out once and spent weeks getting it Running properly. I bought a new loom. £300 and so easy to fit. + when you do any work on her your not worried about it breaking, because it won't.
  7. Defi are about the cheepest of the real good quality ones though not as bling and go for electrical or digital instead of mechanical. Beemon Tweeks do the full Defi range.
  8. Whats halfway between 400 and 440. :slap: + I said around that way I wouldn't offend the people who have shown 431 and 429 on dynos, but I expect mine to be around the 420 RWHP ish once I've got my Emerald ECU on it and no MAFS and rolling road set up. Let me get another 3000 miles on her and all my snagging list sorted. Thats my target anyway.
  9. Middlehurst use to just remove the Gear box to gain access. The reason for not removing the engine is because the engine loom becomes very brittle over the years and 99 times out of a 100 will break up once disturbed. If both turbos are coming off (which you should do as replacing one is not a good idea) It may be quicker to pull the lump and therefore cheeper, but a new loom could be the result.
  10. The most important thing is to get good quality Gauges. Such as Defi, Greddy, HKS. among others. Other wise don't bother, becaue most are as inacurate as the stock ones
  11. There are a lot running around the 400 to 440 RWHP Mark, but I am only going to make mine flow a bit better and buy a either a Westfield XTR4 or a Radical for Track daying as 400RWHP is enough for everyday use. What ever HP you get out of these cars it costs a lot and the Chasis isn't a racing car.
  12. i'm in the Chester Area and and modded abit, ish. Well the seats are original 02.00 to 03.00 in the morning  Are you mad The Coo Coo and night cap have taken effect by then. Slippers neatly placed by the bed and Tartan Dressing gown folded and over the chair. You never know chaps i might be tempted to play one friday night, but i'd be more tempted to do a track day at Angelsey if anyone is up for it.
  13. Got similar situation. My passenger side HID dip come on with side lights. Cannot get side light on without N/S HID. Doing my nut in.
  14. Yep engine comes with full 50 year warrenty, Teas maid and free entry to all the cat houses in Hamsterdam for life. Get real mate £1000 for a rebuilt engine is buttons. If I were you I'd rip his arm off.
  15. Sgt C's Zelda Had red leather interior and was the best looking interior on the board.
  16. You aint driven any of mine and I do.  Set up will effect handling, but will not effect the charictor of a tyre though it can help to find its weekness. Setup cannot make a tyre grip in the rain if the compoung and tread design means the tyre cools too much in the wet and doesn't move enough water. Nor can it stop the tyre generating too much heat to hold form and apply proper grip went succesive high speed cornering (lateral movement) occures. Only Tyre construction and compound can. Driven hard the Michelins and goodyears will out perform the Toyos in my experience. Always have mine set up quite a lot of negative camber -3 degrees on the rear and -2 on the front. 0 toe on the rear and - 30 minutes on the front with with plenty of negative castor to induce slight oversteer. This is an agresive set up and allows quick turn in so you can use a little drift to go through the corners faster, but Bridgestone S02's are the only tyre I've tryed apart from Yokohoma Track cut slicks that you can drive that hard even in the rain Try them and I promise you'll see they really are the best tyre for the Zed.
  17. What others have you tried? More to the point how hard do you drive? I drive everything as though my arse is on fire even my Volvo and Ford Ranger and I find that Toyos quite frightening in the rain and go off fast if driven hard in the dry. Only good for 5 minutes serious twisties at high speed then start getting a bit loose.
  18. you got it about right there. The Ferrari 348 I drove belonged to a lad whos just bought a Countach. It looks a real pile of crap. He said its crap to drive and always breaking down. where are the Ferrari has been a joy to own. I ask why then is he selling the Ferrari? He said the countach turns more heads. i've never driven a Lambo so I carn't coment other than say the build quality looks like it was built by Reliant while everything about the Ferrari is quality finish and very tacktile like a real dirty woman.
  19. Drive both then give an honest answer
  20. Thats the point. We can make em Quick , but we carn't give them Supercar performance
  21. 19's look sweet and nice for shows, but compromise the ride quality too much for my liking. Ultra lites are just what they say. Ultra light. This helps with braking and brake wear as the inersher is less to stop, but I wouldn't go for Toyo's. IMO they are an average tyre and for the same money you can get a lot better. Avon F1's would be better than Toyos in the dry, but in the wet they are grade 2 ditch finders. The Zed original OEM spec tyre was the Bridgestone S02 and has been OEM spec for most of the Porsches upto 2003. They are now only listed as Porscher fitment but still available. They are the best tyre ever to have on the Zed. Best wet grip good wear rate. Only the Yokohama's are better in the dry. This I know from having clocked up 130K in my Zed over almost 7 years. I've tried most tyre makes and some that people on here have recomended I've got rid of after a week because they were crap. Everyone on here is saying Toyo and if the tyres they had on before were crap they'll seem good, but believe me they are only average. Pilots, Pzeros and Bridgestone S03's are much better, but S02's are the best. Tyres are the most important factor to improve handling and too many people cut corners.
