  1. Its the air filtering up through water trapped in his aiv pods.Tis a bizzare experience the first time you hear it. You can delete them or just pop a little hole in to drain them. Most people delete them.
  2. no its his aftermarket kettle
  3. Taxed mine today..seems silly i have to wait till it arrives. As it`s already on the system why should i have to wait just so it`s displayed
  4. it`s all a cunning ruse
  5. Just done mine..not too bad getting out, refitting which was the pain. Managed in the end though, feels really solid.

  11. Before you do buy another open up the top and check the solder on the board and the pins. Like anything else they can get dry joints. I fixed my old maf doing this.
  12. don`t forget to check the tie rod too..she may have hit a hole and cracked the arm
  13. Also, don`t forget it can also leak from the trim on top of the targa, which means dismantling them to reseal the screws.

  15. I`ve also found water coming in from the petrol filler area, seems a welded seam had been poorly done..took years to find that one.

  18. this is something i need to learn to do
  19. just bought a pair too..i`ll end up having a drivers one surplus to requirements if someone just wants one or i can offer a free plastic one sent to me my mark derby
  20. yeah the wing mirror triangle is proud at the top by about 3-5mm, without a doubt its the door.
  21. Anybody know if the tops are different from the bottoms. My door leans out at the top causing a bad seal on the rubber. I did have a new set put on(allegedly) years ago and there was no change. So i`m wondering if they did do the job they fitted them incorrectly. I tried adjusting them inwards but no joy.
  22. Been there twice..the speed sensor is the least likely to fail. If you are confident with a solder iron resolder EVERYTHING on the board. I even paid a local electronic shop to have a go and it wasnt until i got brave and did both sides did it work like new again.
  23. If it is a maf they can get dry joints too. Worth a resolder
  24. i`ve had to redo my uk one..ended up having to resolder both sides of the board
