  1. Yep headlights. I had an issue with flickering hids. Turned out that white wire was corroded and breaking.
  2. Att. Jeff have you seen my p.m regarding this?
  3. You wait till we start talking *****cks..then you`ve no chance..hehehe. Welcome to the club
  4. I fitted allen bolts..so much easier
  5. Off my uk zed..bought a new one in black friday sale thinking this may have caused my issue..i was wrong so got this going. ) works as new. Decent price as I`m a decent guy and keeping in the club spirit of things.
  6. failing that..next in line on the idle control circuit is the fuel pump ecu
  7. If you`re any good with soldering they`re easy to fix..same as the speedos. Just need to have a good magnifying glass.
  8. Was just thinking the same..pretty sure it`s already been mentioned. Bet you have a dry joint/s in the fuel ecu. It has several stages of performance and varying voltage and it`s on the same circuit as all the idle valve stuff. Also no fault codes will show confusing it even further.
  9. mjp in the trader section is your best bet
  10. Hi mate i`m in Chelmsford if you want to pop over in your spare time. I have the tech to plug in and see what`s going on and pretty good at fault finding on our cars. Let me know and i`ll p.m you my number.
  11. Belated birthday greetings
  12. Belated birthday greetings
  13. that looks awesome
  14. That`ll be them..the little brass coloured bit on top is the pintle.
  15. congratulations to you all
  16. It`s possible someone thought about popping your window russ..stupid but they generally are. If it`s any consolation i`m in the same boat. Mine just rotted off. A silicone repair looks like the best option
  17. well.if that`s the bit you need the old caps are semi circular inside because early injectors have round tops, you can see the later style are square. http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=2848&Car_Type=300&UID=2014041009363580.193.0.194 try this, will give you an idea.
  18. Load of bull..the boards are totally different for a start. I`m sure if he was a trader on here and was any good he`d still be here. I know cos i own a uk zed!
  19. No worries. I bought myself a new maf from them too in the black friday sale. I can reassure you they work perfectly so if you do still have trouble it`s unlikely to be the maf.
  20. If you haven`t fixed this yet try the fuel pump ecu. Turns out mine had a dry joint or two which was causing mine not to idle until hot..which was problematic to say the least. Mine also ran ok with no maf so my guess is the main ecu bypassed my problem with no air meter reading. A kind of limp, cure all, get you home at least mode.
  21. Looking good mate.
  22. I`ve just taken my fuel ecu out as my car won`t idle and just dies when cold. I`ve done pretty much all the things you have. Guess what..the idle valves (aav) and fuel pump ecu are in bed together according to the wiring diagrams. My ecu board had a more dodgy joints than Bob Marley, especially on one particular capacitor. Putting mine back in tomorrow and see what happens. Worth a look? Also main ecu shows no error codes.
