Update : Plugged laptop in and run the realtime graph option to prove its picking up the revs correctly. IT does up to 3500rpm then the graph drops to zero revs and bounces between 0 and 3500(ish) revs. After another phone call to our technical friends it would seem something is hogging the rpm wire (turbo timer) - I have disconnected this but am going to pull it all out properly this weekend as cutting the wire did not fix.

fit the red interior - if you dont like it spray the car black afterwards :)

Just spoken to Racelogic (didnt realise they had a support centre - guy was fantastic) - Think there could be a problem with the RPM wire. I need to try and select off or 20% on the dial and rev the engine - the green led should flash to show its picking up the signal correctly - I dont think mine does......... will try and find out.

I think Mines spec every ecu to whats on the car - you change the car mods and are meant to return ecu for reflash. They are pretty aggresive chips.

just a thought here - are the settings kept by flashable eprom or battery backed up mate? Just thinking whether disconnecting my battery for 3 months would've lost settings. Will plug in laptop this weekend regardless - but it could be the fact that settings are lost if they are battery backed up - what a dork I'll feel then.

Anyone lend me the diagnostic lead please?

Mine is not working at all and decided to nearly kill me this morning. When switched off the red led lights up - I selected wet on the dial and led goes off. The green flashing led doesnt light when stationary then as you move it flashes and gets faster and faster BUT when tubs kick in the back end just slips everywhere. There doesnt seem to be any ignition spark adjustment whatsoever - not sure if theres a wiring fault or what but its never really worked. Any ideas?

The NC35 is much better looking (its the RVF isnt it?) But price is surely much higher. I got a fireblade and have had various blade models. Never been able to fault Honda's build quality. From what Ive heard the baby blade is every bit as good

its making the noise, but no water coming out of washer. Its a shortie so water reservior is in the back - after minutes of trying to wash no water under car or anything - cant tell if its emptying anywhere but nowheres wet? Rear washer works fine. Removed front nozzle and nowts coming through. its wet like a drop at most. Any ideas on where to start looking? Is the pump at the front of the car on a shortie?

This is why I fitted racelogic traction control with launch. Should even out the playing field once I get it setup correctly.

I got a 320mm on mine, makes it feel like a go-kart - however - aesthetically im not sure if it looks right, Think a 350mm is the way forward. Also the 320mm momo blocks out your dials so you cant see speed, revs etc, you find yourself looking over and under to see what speed your doing.

If thats the case Im hoping to bin airbag as obvisouly no use - but do you know if its the same as the 350z where the airbag is part of the panel - or will I be ok? Anyone else fitted one?

Isnt the squeal caused by not shimming? I was hoping some copperease on the backs would sort out any possible probs.
