  1. Hi Anyone changed their door speakers. Currently got knackered Pioneer TS-1670 (16cm across) Been offered some 16cm JBL628 - actually 6.5" - will these fit without butchering the metal on the door? Looking at it a 17cm speaker (6.5in) will not fit into the metal casing. Anyone retrofitted a good speaker in the door without cutting it up. Cheers
  2. dont forget MS's own new software "Microsoft Security Essentials" Totally free and running perfectly on my pc. Getting good ratings in the tech forums too...
  3. sorry Uno, no idea on the N97 - Steevo, Bantam - its a top app tho aint it :) Just hoping someone adds this forum to it.... :)
  4. Hi people Any chance of activating/registering the club with tapatalk. Its an iphone browser - absolutely fantastic - Im on the AVForums with it at moment - so much easier to browse than safari because no pinching etc and no avatars/logos so pages load up quick. http://www.tapatalk.com/ Thanks
  5. s'funny, im running F1s on mine and theyre sound. However on the beemer we had some linglongs and back end was everywhere but where you wanted it to be in the wet, forked out for some good dunlops and transformed car - coudlnt believe how much a bad tyre could affect car.
  6. oh, also the sluniverse link.... I only found that by searching for iphone forum app, no idea what sluniverse is,,, honestly.
  7. to activate it someone who looks after the forum needs to do this. http://www.tapatalk.com/en/plugin
  8. there is another app called tapatalk specifically for vbulletin forums not sure if its for windows devices too but its for iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and Nokia http://www.sluniverse.com/php/vb/slu-announcements/31659-native-iphone-forum-app.html I think you need to add a bit of code somehow to the forum for it to work
  9. yep - all working ok now mate Thanks Oh - While were on subject as you look after the forum (It wise) any chance of installing the addon/plugins to allow iphone forums browsers to read the Vbulletin forum? There is an app called TouchBB for the iphone, it reads Vbulletin forums but needs an add on script for the forum? Is this something the forum committee would consider doing as Iphones are becoming the norm :) Its a lot easier to read a dedicated forum browser than pinch and resizing safari on the iphone. Cheers

dont get me wrong, they have a lot more control than on a sports bike, bought me missus a gsxr 600 as a first bike but it was too much so were now selling it - the drz is more sit up and has a good turning circle. The gsxr can be a bit heavy on slow turns and combined with the poor steering (i.e. lean) if you mess up on a corner you'll be in the hedge. A sit up bike allows more steering turn and is lighter. Anyways mate, whatever you choose - be safe ;)

I chopped my sportsbike (fireblade) in for supermoto - total fun on the road and can be as quick in the twisties due to flickability and light weight. Something like a drz400SM - Think these can be restricted too. Hooligans toy - wheelies everywhere and you can do light green laning on standard road tyres....
  12. gotta admit, i had sorta fell outta love with mine, been off road for a while, not been on group either, been using freelander and supermoto. Mates just bought an S2000 and its sorta rekindled my passion for getting it back on road, mot'd etc. I know 2 miles up road and Im gonna wish Id never took it off but at this moment in time, it just sits there looking sorry for itself....... Promised meself I'd get her mot'd and taxed for the start of April and start driving her again.
  13. Been trolling through search and I remember someone posting here a while ago on a company who setup wheel alignment then showed them how to drive fast round the twisties. Anyone remember who done it? I need to get mine done in the new year and my mate wants his Civic setting up too.....
  14. Been trolling through the searches and cant find what Im looking for... I want my HIDS to stay on all the time but when you switch main beam they turn off. I remember a mod to enable them to stay on and from what I remember its to earth one of the earth wires to the dipped beam bulb (now ballast) Is that right?
  15. cheers, that was one place I was gonna mount em - only one mount point tho so dont they flap around?
  16. Afternoon. Cant seem to find a decent place to locate my ballasts for my HID's I was going to mount them under the nose panel as If I mount them in there they bolt in lovely and the nose panel goes down - however - cable length is a slight issue then - even If I can get the cable the right length by moving them up I cant get the connectors routed through existing mounting holes. Anyone done a mounting guide for these? I think before I mounted my old ones behind the indicators but they were only stuck down and in time worked lose and got damaged. Cheers
  17. We got this as a daily drive now.... Touch wood - no probs (well it had a whine at 70 but land rover sorted out as we got 1 year warranty) - like Someone said - bit agricultural to drive - but high up with good driving position. Diesel too so pretty torquey and pretty good on fuel. I think the older freelanders are the ones with probs....
  18. what happened with the original steering wheel mate - I like the look of them...
  19. no, but cats have evil sharp claws that scratch yer bonnet when they wanna sleep on a nice shiny warm bonnet.....
  20. ahhh, the VTC, thats what i thought......... just remind me again what VTC is :)
  21. got a feeling its for the servo? safety for the turbo. As I have boost jets shouldnt this be disconnected or does it not matter. Thats if it is for the safety boost thingamabobjob.
  22. oh, do I have to PLUG IT IN??? :) Cant read for toffee recently.
  23. yep - blew my pipe off and had exactly the same thing from what I remember mine was under the headlight panel.
