Thinking of buying an old cottage and doing it up, wanna move off a new housing estate. Where do you start looking for these, is there a website I know theres http://www.rightmove.co.uk but this doesnt really cater for stuff like that. We registered at local estate agents but have heard nothing. Anyone know of any good websites..

misunderstanding, She emailed them photos of herself as they asked what she looked like, then they uploaded them. (She had them done by someone else a few months ago) They have emailed her and asked if its alright to use them - Shes pretty ok with the whole thing as shes getting some exposure but I think she should get paid for it. That was all.

I sorta got stuck refitting a shortshifter - you need deformed hands to hold, stabilise and thread nuts on at same time, which is exactly what Mr Duff had :) He popped over this afternoon and in minutes finished a job I had spent over half hour of dropping nuts and bolts under car. Top man and Top Job!!!! :bow:

feck feck feck feck and feck cant get b****d f*****n gearstick back on now Spent the last 20 mins dropping same bolt onto heatshield you need f****n tiny hands!!!! on top of that the sun is beating down unmercifully, too goddamned hot to work and try and do this. Oh - to top it all the one I removed is the same size as the one I am now trying to refit!!!! So I had a bloody shortshifter in all the time!!! : :headvswal

When replacing gearstick for a short shifter, do you remove the big plate (4 screws and a bolt) around it to get to the bottom nut? Or is this done from under the car....? Thanks (Just Ive removed all centre console etc and am now stuck and need to get car back together fairly quick to go out)

think its one of lukes refabricated ones just cant work out what im meant to do with the fixed stud thats through it.

Anyone fitted these before. Got one and it looks like there should be 2 holes for bolting down. On mine there is only 1 hole, the other has a threaded stud welded into it. Being a stud you cant turn it so I dont know if its just for locating or what its for? Is this right? pic attached. Cheers

scuse my ignorance here has car got to be level when I remove bung? Should engine be warm to warm the old oil and ease it out. is the bung directly under gearbox? I just chuck in 4 litres of either mt90 or silkolene. whats that - about 30 min job? Cheers

18" Anteras Seemed fine for a while but just seem to be getting more forward daily?!? :( Happy to take it for someone to set it up - any recomendations for the south yorkshire area?

no crunch just real noisy when sat still - depress clutch and it goes quiet I thought at first it could be thrust bearing but I thought when pedal was pressed clutch bearing made noise coz that when it engages. that coupled with a whinny sorta noise when accelerating. and slow gear changes - you have to wait a second before snicking it in.

cheers is it worth doing you think? or just normal hypoid gear oil.

Happened to my old red UK LWB too. dunno if its living in pothole city but my SWB now has the same problem Front wheels seem to far forward and when you turn they rub and embed themselves in the inner arch covers. Left hand side inner arch now ruined and Ive had to cut it away slightly to stop the embarrasing noise when turning corners. Polybushed up and had the rose jointed tension rods put on. Will have to check to see if lower arms are cracked - anyone else ever get this prob???
