Ive been outta the saddle for 5 years now but am about to get a bike again. Used to have blades, fzr1000 etc and want a blade again. Specifically the urban tiger one. I had the original urban tiger and loved it, but the done it again in 97-99 with a dark orange scheme with Silver RR decals. Anyways - to cut a long story short, I found a couple. What is considered a high mileage for sports bikes now? 1999 - 22000 miles - £2350 ono or 51 Plate (99?) - 13500 miles - £2900 ono

4.99 & 3.25% !!!! You lucky buggers Just rettook mine out at 5.99 for 2 years. best I could get was 5.79% with Halifax but cost of switching wasnt worth it. Im just starting to overpay mortgage by £300 pcm to bring term down from 26 years to about 14 :)

lol, I went up to buy a bmw as a runaround from them, sounded nice on phone, mint condition etc. got up there and it was a piece of crap, sales guy couldnt care less, he just mumbled something and walked away when I complained about it. wasted 2 hours journey for a "mint" car that had the spoiler removed (and gaffer tape over the holes), the rear passenger window had fallen down and was propped up, seats were ripped etc... like everyone else - since then I heard about aftersales etc.

Im looking to get a fireblade later this year again. Had one 5-6 years ago and am now missing em. Was looking to go for a V-Twin like a ducati 998 or sp-2 but due to budget may just get an old blade for a couple of £K. Im sure it'll scare the crap out of me again :) Still got a set of decent leathers if I fit em and a Dainese lid (after 5 years are they still safe)? Like the others have said - buy the best you can afford mate - its your skin. Like many people, ive seen what sliding down the road at 25-30mph in a pair of jeans does to your legs - not nice.

Do you guys just chuck some blankets or summit over zed if you leave it in your garage. Having a black Zed, you can polish it at 5 at night, put it away, then in the morning get it out and theres a layer of dust over it :( Thinking of trying to get a cover but as its a wide arch swb think Im gonna struggle.... may have to just get some old duvet covers...

Read on an american Z Site somewhere that a good mod is to remove the cooling fan thats driven from the crankshaft and fit an electric fan to the radiator instead. Can lose up to 10hp through crank driving fan, this sorta makes sense... Any truth in it?

you got the size for the gates belts? Im running gates too....

Anyone got a copy of it? Its freeware so totally legal to pass on but Artis website is down and I cant find a mirror. only about 400k and allows you to copy your sky+ harddrive to a new un (Im upgrading the box tonight)
