  1. Just sit it on a chair in the local Accident and Emergency ward. It will be long decomposed before anyone offers it a cup of tea
  2. fully agree what your saying about two sides to a story and although you cant judge a book by its cover you can get a gut feeling when you see someone and when I saw them on TV they were regular family type men, not hoodie, chav, thug types at all. But details apart its the fact that people can come here and claim asylum and human rights but we can send our own out into a justice system where they have no chance of a fair trial and will almost certainly be denied thier 'human rights'
  3. Seen this on the local news. Two lads just a few miles away from me were involved in an incident in Greece 6 years ago. They were attacked and robbed by a gang of greek men. They fought back but were badly beaten and slashed with a knife. They called for help but the police came and arrested them. During the attack one of the lads hit one of the greeks with a bottle which cut his throat. The greeks were never charged but the two english lads were thrown into a rat infested prison and beaten by the greek guards, before being relesed. Now 6 years on the greek authoritys want to put them on trial for attempted murder. The lads have appealed to the courts not to be sent back as they will be mistreated again and not receive a fair trial but guess what?? they have lost the appeal and this glorious country is deporting them back to greece next week to spend up to 18 months in a greek hell hole before trial. These are blokes now have to leave their wives and kids behind just before xmas and not know when or if they will return. Now what make me sick is if they were some cranks from Iran/Iraq who came here illegally or hijacked a plane to get here then they could cry asylum and the human rights card not to be sent back and the do gooders here would ensure they were set up for life. Its a fact that the normal British guy is becoming a second class citizen in his own country
  4. There is only one good thing about smoking in pubs, You can identify the women who smoke quickly and therefore not waste any time talking to them or even worse waste money buying them a drink
  5. but if the universe is contantly expanding then what is it expanding into, its gotta have space to grow into. I love books on this kind of stuff and even I cant give you all the answers so Stephen Hawkings and you lot have no chance
  6. Christmas is not just a time for enjoying yourself, we should take time out to think of the real meaning and celebrate a man who gave so much to the world. So this year please take time to celebrate the birth of Santa Clause and the work he has done with the elves and reindeer in bringing us presents for all these years.
  7. Come on your missing the obvious, just fake an illness, dont re-invent the wheel just use the good old fashioned sickie...
  8. almost 20 years in engineering untill i was sick of shift work and working for a company that treats you like dirt. So walked from it and now I teach it instead, best thing i ever did, The fact that you are considering a career change is proof enough that your present job has run its course and you should go. onwards and upwards.. good luck Paul
  9. We will all be long long dead by the time it starts to cause real problems so who gives a shit
  10. i ask cos ive been looking at a set of wheels that someone has had on a skyline and they 9.5" all round.
  11. detecting in improvement in handling with a "non targa" is like detecting an increase in power after fitting iridium plugs to a saxo, its all in the mind LOL
  12. that would be fantastic mate. PM me your number and i will give ya a shout. :) cheers
  13. just for getting my car in and out the garage untill i can get sorted with the repairs and new wheels. they need to be at least 17" so they clear the big brakes I know its a long shot cos most people have standard ones lying around. hopefully in the north east if poss cheers Paul
  14. I think it would have been easier getting it back from the theives than the police LOL Im waiting for it to be released by the police. It was stolen from Durham polices patch and found in Northumbria polices patch and guess what ...yip they both say its the others responsibility to sort the paperwork out. oh well cheers guys and gals
  15. well finally found my Z it was about 5 miles from where it got pinched right in the woods down a gravel footpath where its pitch black with nothing but a few farm houses around. After the police phoned I went to little daves (elmo) and we took his wheels off and went down to find it. When we eventually found it the police were already there. The car was on bricks, the wheels have gone, the cd player (cheap ebay one)has gone, my famous skull gearknob has gone and one of the worst things is they have taken the blitz boost controller and power meter, the silly thing is they are no use without the wiring and the solenoid valve so they cant do anything with them. The front bumper has a few cracks where they have been down the gravel paths, the back bumper is grazed, the door lock is bust, and the ignition barrel and plastic surrounds have been torn out. Its gone off on the back of a recovery truck to get finger printed in the morning and i should be able to have it back tomorrow afternoon. I know it sounds bad but it could have been so much worse, they could have kicked every panel in and popped the windows if they wanted to or even set it on fire. At least i got my car back and with a bit of paint and a new set of wheels she will be lookin good as new again. I would like to thank u all for your concern its nice to know theres so many people behind you when you have had a right kick in the nuts. Thanks to Neil and stella for offering me standard wheels and i would have taken you up on it but sadly they wont fit on over my big brakes. If you see the fridge running around on 4 spacesaver's dont laugh :) Thank you again for your support Paul
  16. Just had a call off the police my car is parked up in gateshead with no wheels on. Now its the race to get to it and get spare wheels on and bring it home before it gets dark. I praying that thats the only thing wrong with it
  17. nobody has any keys other than me it was nicked from a car park. I could kick myself for leaving it there at night but i thought it will be ok I will only be an hour or so. Ive been told a few cars have been taken from that area now. Im going for a drive around there now and i know its like looking for a needle in a haystack but im sick of pacing the floor here waiting for a phone call.
  18. And to all those kind people who posted it on other boards if you wouldnt mind sticking a pic up for me as well. Heres one from my rides section.
  19. thanks for all your suppost guys, I had a cobra alarm fitted years ago when i got the car but couldnt even tell you the model number now, Im afraid i slipped into the "it wont happen to me" attitude after owning it all these years with no problems. i really dont know what to expect, if it turns up with no wheels on i will be over the moon, if it turns up burnt out i will sob like a baby and if they crash it I just hope they not wearing seatbelts. I just hope some joyrider is sitting looking at it and thinks "sh1t what the hell can I do with this thing" and parks it up somewhere. heres hoping. Paul
  20. no word from police yet, I feel totally numb. Nothing can replace the years of work and money i have put into building this car, Its not even on agreed value insurance so as far as insurance will be concerned its a 16 year old jap import worth next to nothin. this car cant be sold its too noticable as a one off so if anyone sees bits advertised please give me a shout.
  21. He made his fortune on the " I risk my life every show " gimmick. he made the money and took the chances. Sad but no surprise really
