poor u Dave. i just managed to get rid of my flu. it 'sprouted' two days before my first interview of 12 years (cheers flu-mate!) but after much strong medicine, ibu', whisky, sleep and clothes, got rid of the barsteward.

about 200 miles :( had a shedload of other work done too :D

sounds obvious but does the car open/start properly. does the light flash all the time eg. while driving, while alarm armed, while disarmed, etc.

i think the thread should be closed and if the two parties cant sort it out between them then let the TLO deal with it.

yeah thats the one. it didnt belong to a member on here, but a member did know the guy who owned the car. it was the feature about 'dial-a-driver' where people can drive to the pub, drink to their heart's content, then ring someone to come on a fold-up scooter who will put that in your boot and drive you home.
