  4. PMSL mine's exactly like yours Nick, except ive had to tape it up cos one section of it came apart!
  5. i cant believe that second one!! ok the woman in the first clip should have realised she wouldnt make it and given up, but what the hell was going through this one's mind???? i reckon the car is an automatic judging by all the lurching its doing.
  6. hope you dont mind the hijack but here are 2 more crappy ones - one on the way, and an obligatory Vinz bonnet shot!
  7. i dont want to take the targa off at the moment, but you can see bits of sealant (circled) where i found that water was running beneath the rubber (the bit where the rubber goes flat). i had to dump about a third of a tube's worth there cos it wasn't working but in the end i think i cracked it.
  8. yeah i saw that - the red one.
  9. yeah that was a good place too - the Forge. went there for a Christmas party [cough] - very nice food. that leaves me with 3 or 4 ideas for the Midlands - shall we say March 18th?
  10. i had a similar problem - although the rainwater was running down the back of the a-pillar and out the top gauge pod. i replaced the entire rubbers and it didnt really help. i got a bottle of rubber sealant from halfrauds and it seems to have cured it - although saying that i had to use half the tube and bits of the sealant are visible upon inspection. the best way to id where the water is getting in is to remove the targa(s) and pour some water into the 'drains' above the T-bar. follow the water and see if it goes underneath any rubber - a usual cause. also make sure that the water enters the draining holes at the top of the A-pillar and ejects at the front wheel arches.
  11. i'll be up for it too :hyper: bagsie one in Leicester next time

  20. omg that mach 1! beaten only by the Boss Mustang
  21. you dont need to open the lids to recharge the battery - theyre just for topping up with deionised water when the cells run low - although ive never heard of car batteries that are sealed in this way. if your battery is dying every day then check to see if there is enough water covering each cell, and check the charge of the battery itself with a meter. if the battery is dying then either the battery is knackered, or youve got a short in your car somewhere. i had a prob in my Cav where there were two alarms installed (one older one i didnt know about that had been deactivated) but were causing a short, and killing the battery every Saturday!
  22. ROFLMFAO!!!!!    :headvswal love it!!!! me and a mate sometimes watch those on the telly and laugh at them - this is absolutely perfect!!!! HAHAHAhahhahahahah!!!!!
  23. :( hmm i dont like the look of that at all - yeah better looking than the Scooby-poohs, but the front looks cheap and tacky, it looks like bits of plastic have been stuck across the centre. The signature bonnet vents have been replaced with what looks like something from Renault, although the side vents seem a call back to the Evo I-III. The 'EVOLUTION' across the back has gone. I dont like the stance either, and the headlights are wnak :( but not to slag it off too much i agree i bet it sticks to the road like a bastid and i bet it shifts a bit (up to 90mph anyways ;) ) who cares what it looks like when youre in it and youve got the twisties ahead of you
  24. i'll have to get one - handy when my right hand goes to my nuts... i mean, [cough] ! only joking ;) glad youre improving mate, and youre typing by yourself now so thats progress. best of luck with the scan.
