thanks for that John - sorry mate I must have missed your post. ive made some notes and will start to tweak the settings on the journeys to and from work! once my remaining list of modifications is installed (stage 2 tubs, single-piece prop and NA diff) then i'll be looking to put her in for a damn good rolling road session. the last time it was set up on a rolling road was by Thor nearly 4 years ago! back then it was a different colour, different transmission type, and only putting out about 300bhp :slap:

stock boost is 9.5 mate so your gauge is spot on! i wonder if your wastegates are slow to respond or aren't opening properly.

its a cool feeling aint it mate. how are you reading your boost tho - as 1mm jets should only give you about 14.5psi (1.2mm= approx 12psi, 0.8mm=approx.16psi) aint that the truth! i wish someone would tell me when to stop! :D

the eprom (depending on which one you go for and how its mapped) will know how much fuel to supply at each given amount of boost. its up to you how much maximum boost you want the boost controller to run and how quickly it builds up

being a bit of a raver, all of their old shit is my cup of tea. i think the prodigy blended punk rock with rave very well but their previous album was too rock/metal for me. having said that, Omen is an awesome track!

mate ive been there and it terrified me - when i lost my mother a few months ago. over the course of a fortnight or so id wake up in the middle of the night and i'd stopped breathing. literally stopped, for several long seconds. i'd wake up in a panic, with my heart thudding in my chest, and id dash to the window and gasp as much air in as i could (which made things worse cos id start to hyperventilate too). i was terrified to go sleep for ages after that, but it seems to have sorted itself out now. i feel i can say this as well mate, and its an easy thing to say but a much harder thing to get your head around, but i find that telling myself that depression is just brain chemicals changing your perception of the world for the worse - whether youre going through a bad patch in life or not, whether youre suffering from the credit crunch or whatever else life is throwing at you - everything out there is fine and im sure that sometime soon youll see :)

mine will be with me till the day I die (and if i dont get some bigger brakes on soon i think we may be together at that point! lol)

mate unless there's something wrong with your motor, and as long as you check her over regularly and do the usual stuff like not blatting her from cold, and driving the last few miles off boost etc. she'll look after you. mine always looks forward to the daily drive to work and back :D
