  1. not pleasant, but as long as it accompanies a decent belch then its worth it. i guess its like an oral follow-through
  2. lol i take it you mean 2 GIGs of RAM, otherwise having only 2 megs of RAM could be your problem! ;) what cpu do you have?
  3. a mate of mine at work has one and it's pretty tidy - its the top-end GPX. 0-60 is 6.8 i believe. interior is pretty good and it pulls from rest quite well. as said, it isnt in the same league as the Z but for a sporty motor then its not bad
  4. lol thats a piece of crap and no-one'll buy that!
  5. mine will be having a troubleshooting session this week, and hopefully i'll be getting a quote for having the interior and new bodykit put in/on
  6. if youre running higher boost i'd strongly recommend an aftermarket boost gauge so the same doesnt happen again! also if youve got the budget for it you may as well sort the intake and exhaust out as even with running higher boost you've got some restrictions on both ends of the engine. bhp-wise, as it is right now running, what, 3020cc, mine's ecu and 14psi, i'd guess at 340bhp, being hampered by stock intake and exhaust. sort those out and it'll probably be more like 370.
  7. happy birthday mate!! :duffer:
  8. mrogers bought my old steering wheel off me about that time too. not had any response from him. i hope he's alright!
  9. sorry what i meant was the standard gamepads, i.e. not spend £40+ on a guitar. you can use the gamepads to play GH3 which me and a mate enjoyed very much but apparently you have to spunk out some notes on a guitar. it might sound stingy but £35 for a new game is one thing but £80+ is a lot of Z money! :D
  10. http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=274726 gotta be a windup! love the Lolcano
  11. does anyone have this (esp. on the PS3)? is it right that you cant use the normal controllers like you can with the previous guitar heros, and you can only use the special instruments? bit of a snide if so because ive just heard this but not seen it mentioned in any review or even on the back of the game!
  12. they just want to bleed a few extra pennies out of you mate!
  13. F&F :smw: but ultimately will be looking for a better make. water temp, boost and oil pressure (not hooked up as havent got sender!) in A-pillar pods
  14. nice one mate - please be careful though i dont want to hear about it being pranged after a day's ownership!
  15. im running Avon ZZ3s at the moment on my 18s, but Ive got Nexens on my 19s in the garage - probably not as good as the Avons but they're 10mm wider
  16. err thats just for the labour and some basic parts only tho mate dont forget :smash:
  17. ^ fixed   sorry dude just got back from the gym and am a bit light-headed :D I dunno ive always been confused about my running temp being a little too high - the motor's being looked at next week so hopefully he can get to the bottom of it
  18. aha, well seeing as I have a Nismo radiator cap I can subscribe to that - even on cold mornings like we're having at the moment, it will take ages to warm up, but then even under normal driving it will eventually get up to about 96 degrees, and then start to fall off. might be tempted to swap it back and see what happens... I have to admit Ive not noticed it leaking - it does drop a cup or so after being topped up, but thats probably losing it from the overflow tank.
  19. before the rebuild it still drove fine, but i had the DBS (dreaded blue smoke) from the zorsts, meaning either a simple fix (replace PCV hoses/valves at about £70) - which it wasnt. turned out my rear turbo seals had gone since after decatting, and oil was leaking in. also water coolant feed to one turbo had long gone, and the turbo had seized! and low compression in cylinder one. and hairline fracture in block. but after forged pistons, a new block (thanks Duffers - telepathically :x: ), bigger injectors, rebuilt 360 degree thrust bearing turbos, Z1 intercoolers, Koyo radiator, (thanks Danny and Smithy  ) and a long, long time running in she drives like a phantom. until i meddled with it again, ahem! costwise, well you can add up the cost for the parts yourself, labour-wise it was kind of mate-rate, but comfortably over £2k :hurl: youve got the right idea with keeping some cash aside, as you WILL need to fix something, be it large or small. good luck!
  20. welcome to the club mate. good on you for doing some scouting around. check out the for sale section on here as you may find the average price to be lower (and the average quality may be higher :x: ) my Z has done 90k and is still going strong.....ok she's had a full engine and turbo rebuild but hey. for £3k you should be able to get hold of a good example in good running order,
  21. Happy Birthday Steve! :duffer:
