  2. ...oil leak sorted, running temp FINALLY sorted - after posting up time and again about running temp between 185 and 204 farenheit, I drove it home between 164 and 180  ! targa leak hopefully cured, indiglo clocks and chrome dial surround in, washer jets sorted, smoother idle, and all the other stuff you fitted and didnt ask for any payment for  . will be visiting again soon :duffer:
  3. saw it in the flesh today - shame it wasnt out in the sun but it looks marvellous
  4. i pmsl'd at some of those comments - yeah some are right, they're a pig to work on as we all know (mine's gonna be 20 this year, duh!), loved the GTO being better than the Z bit  and Z owners looking like Magnum P.I. (so get a GTO which looks twice as much like a ferrari than a Z!) :smash:
  5. love those - mean no disrespect but theyre just awesome. i like some of the Holy Ghost ones too! OH MY GOSH!!!
  6. i had my veilside in mine too - over the passenger seat and back into the boot. it was fun trying to see left though!
  7. :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: :mac1: leave me in a room with that fkin gypsy, just for one minute glad she's been banned for 25 years - she should be banned FOR LIFE and imprisoned for 6 months M*I*N*I*M*U*M*
  8. some woman from my old job called mine a Knight Rider car - strange thing is it was white at the time!
  9. looks gorgeous mate - who needs the candy colours when youve got that! yum! :D
  10. when you say buzzing sound, do you mean it's stopped buzzing, as it normally makes that sound do you know where it is wired into (it is commonly the rear number plate light circuit) - if so does the rear numberplate light up when you switch the lights on? ...and welcome to the club
  11. glad to hear youre ok mate, sorry to hear about this - Zs can be repaired, some people cannot
  12. lol wasnt having a go - just saying it was in the papers the other day :smash:
  13. didnt that news reporter get into trouble by saying these aren't just job cuts, they're m&s job cuts
  14. no i dont use xfire mate, but i still love playing it. its just a shame that bf2player.com is going down - best site for stats :(
  15. ive just managed to get on the net after ten days without!!!  my router packed in two weeks ago, or at least it couldnt connect to the net, neither could my crappy wanadoo livebox. after 6 or 7 calls to orange tech support over the last week, there's still no internet connection (flashing lights on the front of the box) and theyve been fobbing me off with all sorts of rubbish about line upgrades and engineers taking a look into it and will contact me (not one call yet!) so i decide to reinstall and hook my old modem up and abra cadabara it works straight away!!! so can someone explain how i can be on the net with a good 6.4mb connection with my old modem, yet two routers (that were both working perfectly 2 weeks ago) suddenly can't even find the net? and im talking even plugging them directly into the filter and then into the main incoming phone line!?!?!?
  16. i use NetMeter to track my usage, although i have unlimited usage. depends what you use the net for mate. downloading a bit of music, playing BF2 a fair bit, this that and the other, i'd rack up 5gb, but that's no movies or iPlayer or anything like that
  17. nice effort Si, love the music too - a bit of ambient Roni Size or Blame?
  18. speechless. instead of paying them the food they'll miss out on we should charge them for the food they ate. then kick them in and throw them in the Thames! ;)
  19. it sounds like youve got big plans for the motor - and hats off to you for that! how long have you owned the car for? and does it have much service history? does it run ok - any issues, such as water need topping up regularly, slimy water in rad, oil needing top up regularly, noises from engine, smoke from exhausts (other than white smoke after a cold or rainy day)? the reason i ask is that, not wanting to sound a doom-merchant, but you may be eager to spend thousands on a motor that could be about to fail on you. if youre not confident you know the history and current condition of the motor, it may be worth spending some time and/or money on giving it a good check-over first before you ramp up the power. as Mario says, investing in an electronic boost controller and throwing away that manual one is also a good first step - along with installing aftermarket boost and water temp gauges as the stock ones become rubbish over time.
  20. if youre running stock injectors or stock turbos, then something will go bang very quickly at that boost mate - thats 23psi!!! :( the generally agreed safe max boost on a relatively stock motor is 1 bar (14.5psi). i wouldnt run it until youve turned the boost down
  21. nice line-up of games there mate, that'll keep you busy!!!
  22. we had a 3-bird combo a couple of years ago, gorgeous to eat, nightmare to cook and it didnt half fill you up! :hurl: i had kangaroo once, not for Christmas, just as a snack! was a bit rubbery.
  23. i just submitted the T3 one - ive been on about it enough times!
  24. Hi Mike!! :duffer:
