  1.  send him a link to this thread! ;)
  2. heard it on the radio earlier - as if there's nothing else to worry about in the world at the moment. i was shocked to hear the name Ireland mentioned.
  3. thanks for the comments guys. i just looked out the window and fook me the valve caps havent been nicked yet! pm'd you mate. @ everyone else: i'll get them cleaned and photo'd on Monday, then up for sale. like i said in my first post the two front tyres are fooked. there's also some light damage and light kerbing but i'll make sure theyre all in the pictures. let's say Car.Mad has first dibs on them.
  4. 2am - pah you young'uns dont know how to party! :duffer: happy birthday mate :)
  5. ah ok cheers Neil. i shall keep looking!
  6. i assume you mean on the back mate - are yours spaced out then? mine seem to be coping ok at the back so far... mind you they've only done 2 miles :x:
  7. thanks Neil thats very kind of you. funnily enough ive just asked the question whether the bore is too large on the single pair of spacers on the other thread, but other than that im tempted to go with them. i need to keep an eye out for thinner spacers too for my fronts, 5mm or perhaps 10mm, just to give it a little more clerance from the inside of the arch. as for the bumper, I already have one thanks mate although im not 100% confident in the fitment. all being well it'll be fitted come May, so if there's a problem and i need a replacement I'll give you a shout if you've not sold it by then! cheers bud :)
  8. these are on fleabay at the moment, but it looks like the bore size is too large. is this a no-no then or does it not really matter as long as the pcd is correct? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/20MM-5x114-3-HUBCENTRIC-SPACERS-M12-x-1-5-NISSAN-TOYOTA_W0QQitemZ390030492141QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item390030492141&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A3%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
  9. do you have dump valves installed mate as if so they may not be set correctly and may be sucking air in when not under boost
  10. it might do... for about half a second, then WH-T-T-T-T-BOOOOOM!!!!!! ah f**k!
  11. no theyre still sat in the cupboard! :headvswal im hoping to get the bodywork done next month, but it looks like i might need new suspension all round - half to drop the rear, and half to hopefully sort out the issue that caused my inner tyre wear - whether it was tracking or suspension i dont know.
  12. i wanted to wait and put them on when I had the rest of my bodywork put on, but a) i couldn't resist it any more, and b) my old tyres were fooked on the insides. and when i say fooked, i mean bald and starting to puke their liner out!!   theyre 19" 275 on the back and 245 on the front. i love the plain 5-spoke style, and theyre going to be SO much easier to clean than the old Vortexes. i definately need to drop my rear about 20mm, and i'd like to space them out just a little. the front is a foookin tight fit. when on full lock either way, there's about one millimetre between the tyre and the inside arch! i will probably space the fronts out very slightly to try and compensate. on the drive back i didn't have any problem when turning, even carefully on full lock, but when going over a speed bump there's a bit of scrubbage from the top :( hopefully dropping the rear suspension will help the front out a little. many thanks go out to the boys at Formula One in Leicester for putting them on and being a decent bunch of lads. needless to say my 18s will be up for sale in the near future. i need to get them cleaned and get some pics up.
  13. youre only increasing the weight of the car by about 1.5% so id imagine there wouldnt be much difference!
  14. this thread might help mate http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=123037
  15. pah theyre just photoshops, nice try Vijay! ;) ps.
  16. saw that last week  amazing the detail you get. couple that with the face recognition technology and all those rediculous-looking scenes in dramas and action films where they identify a suspect from some security camera miles away, suddenly doesnt look so rediculous any more!!!
  17. yeah, one in the front and one in the back. might struggle to get a quarter of a million horse power down to the tarmac though :smash:
  18. lol, can't remember! i do remember it being really cool at the time though and we were all trying to copy the words while someone played the record!
  19. what a great turnout, im sure he'd be beaming if he saw that! RIP.
  20. go to network setup and make sure its not trying to connect wirelessly (is that a word?) i take it you mean an ethernet cable - it should be the only cable that connects to the back of the ps, apart from the obvious ones. is it the same router you hook your pc up to? just go through auto setup and it should be able to sort itself out
  21. lol gotta be fake! no-one can be that weird!
