  1. plenty of scope if youre going bigger than 555! i think a good rule of thumb is 555cc injectors will take you to very roughly 555bhp. stock ones will be good for (roughly) 380bhp etc. ive been looking all over the shop for this thread - found these three, one of which i started myself!!!! what a tw@!!!! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=47844 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=51595 http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=96285
  2. there's a thread somewhere mate of good things to change while youre at it. what power are you chasing, as obviously now's the time to do bigger injectors too if youre after 400+
  3. i have the Profec E-01 but the B-specII seems to be the most popular
  4. hey up Vijay Ive got one of those Sandisk ones too - not quite an ipod but im very hapy with mine. i had the exact same problem - i dont bother with ID3 tags at all, i just name my music artist - track, like Goldie - Inner City Life its good enough for me. so when i came to upload some to my Sandisk i got loads of 'Unknown artist' and 'Thats what I call music 57' :xxx: in the end i got hold of a piece of software called ID3 Renamer, which would automatically go through a directory you specified and set the ID3 tag to whatever you wanted depending on how you tell it your filename is made up. it also does the other way around and names the filename from the ID3 if you wanted it to. very pleased i was while it was churning away, but when it came to uploading them, the Sandisk still called them useless names, even though when I check them in Windows they're the new version. i think this is cos i uploaded them directly to the player as opposed to 'syncing' them with windows media player. not tried it properly yet - got fed up with it,. worth a try tho i suppose
  5. the end of world terror????? :x: :x: (probably not but perhaps a step in the right direction)

  8. what width tyres do you have on?
  9. cool site there! i just checked and the Shell down the road is about 18p p/l cheaper than the BP I use on the way home from work!!!! they reckon V-Power is 99 ron don't they? and the more expensive BP Ultimate is 98 isnt it. lol might be changing my shopping habits :smash:
  10. you can have a pic of mine mate, ive got some decent ones in my rides or if you dont like any of those i can see if there are any better ones on my PC. minus reg plate of course!
  11. thats going to be a monster and a half there mate
  12. sorry to hear you sold it Neil - youve put a lot of time and money into it. it has a lucky new owner
  13. i cant help but think the middle piece looks like a shed. i prefer it to the 350z, but i totally agree with Bigsss - its too much like a Crossfire.
  14. "Its job is to discharge excess boost pressure when the throttle is closed, the difference between this and a 'dump' valve is that it doesnt 'dump' all the air from the system, only the excess air / pressure." eh? isnt that what wastegates are for
  15. four giant heavy round parcels arrived this morning  only paid for them on saturday! ive only had time to check one wheel before i went gym and its a 19/245 so hopefully there's another 245 and a couple of 275s there too (two of the parcels are noticably wider) loving the wheels though and the brand new rubber! im determined not to put them on the car until the rest of my bodykit is done, which could be a while! think i should tape them back up and put them at the back of the shed
  16. are they adjustable? i had the same prob with my apexis and it turned out they were sucking air in. tightened up a little and all was well!
  17. i misread the username at first I thought it said MJP!!!
  18. looks quite good in orange if you smoke out what you can (side and front indicators, anthracite wheels as you say). im going for that look, but with my blue.
  19. if youre not budgeting for an electronic controller mate then go for boost jets - 1.2mm are the safest bet, 1.0mm will give you about 15psi which is kind of on the line for a stock Z. ck300z is right, stock JDM oil coolers will let you down as you start to up the power so replace with a UK spec
  20. i did one of those silly IQ things on the telly with Anne Robinson and Paul Schofield. got about 148 on that. logged onto Mensa website and took one of their introductory tests - got zero!!!   mind you i wasnt trying very hard
