  1. Many people go for the Brembo calipers from a Skyline as an upgrade but if you get the standard calipers rebuilt properly with good discs and pads they are actually pretty good. I would also recommend a fluid change to start with as you mentioned the pedal travelled to the floor. See what that does as its the cheapest starting point but may be the master cylinder or something thats packed up / leaking.
  2. I would guess they are talking about the flap in the filler neck that lets fuel go down but not back up, not heard that mentioned before.
  3. I guess a really good service is gonna set you back the best part of £300, the fog light should be done by them for the MOT, if its not then its a good indication of wether the tester actually saw the car. Its a manual so no auto box cooler needed.
  4. Get it properly serviced by someone that knows the zed well, theres a few places on here that can do it, probably a full 60k service is best, even if they said its been done its doubtful they did more than an oil change with the wrong oil.
  5. Anyone know where I can get some of the above, either online or a stockist in the Suffolk area?
  6. Well done mate, now find yourself a nice bike and get some miles under your belt, you will love it .
  7. hardly ever post???? I have been on here a year longer than you and you still have more posts than me, you little liar ..
  8. This could be a good test as to just how good the Zed is, how many of you would keep the Zed if you won 3 million? be honest now.
  9. Id like it back or something like Zclub has, first gear, second gear, pretty much for the same reasons as you.
  10. Hopefully he has gone back to take the car for a ride. Alfo, hope you dont think we are just being negative about your new pride and joy mate, just want to make sure everything is ok with it.
  11. Yes mate, if you count the number of turns off and then on and use the same track rod end then it will be fine.
  12. we all like the Zed mate but thats going too far ;)
  13.  its a 3.5ltr v8 then   make your mind up guys. :)
  14. woollys or gliptone both do kits with cleaner, leather dye and conditioner in them.
  15. I would be Visa, it goes with the Zed hand in hand.
  16.  perhaps it does have a civic engine in it then
  17. I think Partco will do the glue together ones as well but its probably just as easy to fit the right one straight away, jack it up, remove wheel, undo track rod end, count turns off, remove old one, fit new one, count same amount of turns on and bolt up track rod end refit wheel. Slightest bit of dirt on the stick together ones and they dont glue together, and if they do they dont last long.
  18. Had to do mine for the MOT this year, I got it from Partco, they had it on the shelf, less than a tenner for the pair.
  19. Its my second year with them now, I really dont think they can be beaten on price, never had to claim though so cant comment on what they would be like at paying out.
  20. Thats with all mods declared, agreed value and limited to 6k miles.
  21. I went there about a month ago to look at a car, not yours though Alfo, they are very pushy and were talking bullshit to me, they didnt know I already owned a Zed.
  22. Carole Nash are becoming very popular on here for Zed owners on classic insurance, mine was low £200 I think.
